William Happer, Judith Curry, Bjorn Lomberg... probably Richard Lindzen and Roy Spencer too. Dodgy websites with ridiculous names publicizing the same people over and over and over.

Freedom Force International?
Sounds credible.

Haha... I just looked them up. Their founder is this man:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._Edward_Griffin#Libertarian_advocacy

He is a libertarian conspiracy theorist. His beliefs include:

-chemtrails are real
-HIV is a hoax
-cancer can be cured, the cure is being suppressed by the government
-9/11 was an inside job

So of course global warming denialism fits into that assortment of psychiatric issues quite nicely.

Science workers in the field actually measuring and observing climate change are at least "97%" in agreement. Current World Wide glacier retreat is simply unprecedented in the available geological record, as is current atmospheric CO2 increase. It's been a lot higher, but got there slower. you wouldn't want to live on that planet, nor was there room for all us humans. The 'tropics' were unlivable for humans and many mammals. And the CO2 mediated ocean acidity is on the same startling upward curve which largely should remove a majority if not all calcium shell building sea creatures, which is most of several vital sections of the oceanic food chain now providing at least 1/3 of human protein nutrition. Most importantly, with all corals, the very base of absolutely vital ocean ecologies which are the most productive outside of cold polar regions that are favored by strong nutrient laden upwelling. It gets worse when you look at melting permafrost and it's sequestered carbon in previously frozen dead plants which have been building up since the last ice age 20,000 years ago, and so on.
I know more than a few geologists and climatologists currently working. NONE find any controversy on climate, outside of political opportunists or professional nay-sayers. I doubt any of either group weren't at the linked 'forum'. Real science gatherings present well reviewed studies independent of any agenda. The most 'climate change' oriented conventions always seem to include unexpected findings that complicate previous views and suggest new questions and research. The way Real science works.

... I love to send anti-global warming articles to my brother who is a environmental science major.
Lol, he is pro-climate change of course. But he told me, he is interested in any article about why people still don't believe in it.

For all of you whether "anti-" or "pro-":

Go out into nature: look yourself.
Look for plants budding, flowering, ripening with seasons. Look when these things happen. Ask parents, grandparents, when these happened in their days.

If in the northern hemisphere: Look for migrant birds arriving, and leaving. Look for hibernating animals reappearing in spring. Ask when they did it a few generations ago, look when they do it now.

Plants and birds get no pay from whoever. They do it in accordance to their surroundings. They do not care for any argument.

You ll find all by yourself: there has been a change going on. There is a change going on. Around us, in our lifetime.

Just use your own eyes, ears, and brain; you don't need a major in science, the signs of that change are all around us.

Nnanji -> RE: Who is ready for some global warming? (1/5/2017 4:13:58 PM)

I'm not sure about your area, but here the migratory bird populations are up 30% to 90% over the long term average, 1955 to present.

This is a report from our national fish and wildlife department.

https://www.fws.gov/migratorybirds/pdf/surveys-and-data/DataBooks/PacificFlywayDatabook.pdf

In the traditional survey area, which includes strata 1–18, 20–50, and 75–77, the total duck population estimate (excluding scoters [Melanitta spp.], eiders [Somateria spp. and Polysticta stelleri], long- tailed ducks [Clangula hyemalis], mergansers [Mergus spp. and Lophodytes cucullatus], and wood ducks [Aix sponsa]) was 48.4 ± 0.8 [SE] million birds. This estimate was similar to the 2015 estimate of 49.5 ± 0.8 million, and is 38% higher than the long-term average (1955–2015). Estimated mallard
(Anas platyrhynchos) abundance was 11.8 ± 0.4 million, which was similar to the 2015 estimate of 11.6 ± 0.4 million,[B] and 51% above the long-term average of 7.8 ± 0.04 million. Estimated abundances of gadwall (A. strepera; 3.7 ± 0.2 million) and American wigeon (A. americana; 3.4 ± 0.2 million) were similar to last year’s estimates, and were 90% and 31% above their long-term averages of 2.0 ± 0.02 million and 2.6 ± 0.02 million, respectively. The estimated abundance of green-winged teal (A. crecca) was 4.3 ± 0.3 million, which was similar to the 2015 estimate of 4.1 ± 0.2 milli

The full report is long. Just a few highlights above to show the point. But it is better to use science rather than superstition.

I think that taking all the oil out of the earth and burning it has made the earth weigh less (less mass) so our gravity has changed slightly and moved us slightly closer to the sun.

I used to think you were ignorant. Now I KNOW you are.

Wasn't Otzi a relic from the last ice age, proving that climate naturally cycles

Thanks goldilocks, for pointing that out for us

Wow, you're still at the stage where you think that the existence of natural climate cycles means global warming can't be driven by human activity.

How long have you been saying this as if it proves anything?

Ever since Comrade Putin/trump told him him so.

Heres a couple of places....

From Denmark

http://cphpost.dk/news/danish-researchers-climate-change-impacting-migrating-birds.html

New research from the Natural History Museum of Denmark at the University of Copenhagen has concluded that climate change will make it increasingly difficult for migratory birds to survive.

The Danish researchers, who led the considerable international research project, used satellite tracking to monitor the migration of 38 birds over several years.

“They are bound to their migration programs, so they fly down to the areas that are green, or where they expect it to be green,” Kasper Thorup, one of the researchers, told DR Nyheder.

“Just as we have a circadian rhythm, the birds have an internal program – an annual rhythm that they follow.”

According to the researchers, there are indications that some species will struggle to survive in the future when climate change is expected to lead to extreme periods of drought and vegetation change.

Dependent on green areas
Three migratory birds indigenous to Denmark – the red-backed shrike, the nightingale and the cuckoo – all spend their winters in various parts of Africa before flying back to Denmark in the late spring.

The cuckoo flies straight to the jungles of west Africa, but the shrike and nightingale travel from green spot to green spot – areas that are lush for only weeks or months at a time – jumping to and fro from five to seven different spots as part of their migration. And that’s where the issue stems from.

“There have been droughts in some areas of Africa, and we could see there that the birds were still waiting around,” said Thorup.

“They don’t just suddenly come up with a new plan just because it isn’t green.”

The migratory bird figures are already dwindling, and unless they are able to adapt their migrations in the future, they may not survive the impact of climate change.

The research project has been published in the scientific journal Science Advances.

This from YaleClimateConnections

http://www.yaleclimateconnections.org/2017/01/climate-change-affecting-bird-migrations/

Each year, more than five million songbirds fly through Chicago as they migrate. But as the climate warms, the timing of those trips are changing.

For more than 30 years, the Field Museum in Chicago has been monitoring migration patterns by studying the bodies of birds that collide with buildings.

Based on collision numbers and dates, they’ve found that some flocks pass through Chicago about a week earlier in the spring than they did several decades ago.

Douglas Stotz is a conservation ecologist at the museum. He says that climate change is the clear cause. Warmer temperatures mean that some birds may not fly as far south to find a wintering ground, so it does not take them as long to get back to Chicago in the spring.

And warmer temperatures are causing some birds – like many white-throated sparrows – to stay in Chicago rather than flying south for the winter. Stotz says it’s important to pay attention to these changes in a bird’s migration patterns.

Stotz: “They are an indicator of what’s happening to the ecosystem as a whole, to the climate as a whole.”

Researcher finds warming temps affecting bird migration patterns. CLICK TO TWEET
For example, if birds do not arrive in time to eat certain insects that damage trees, the trees will suffer.

Stotz: “It’s sort of scary to think how much bigger these effects are going to become in the future if we don’t come to terms with climate change.”

Isn't it interesting that the Kleptocrats of the US and Russia are now sleeping together? Trump has been profiting from massive abuse of the legal system, beating up and stealing from small businesses and workers, all his career. (~3000 civil law suits, by and against, in the last 20 years) No wonder he admires Putin so, who has been doing the same abusing the legal system for profit, only picking far richer targets to enrich himself and his cronies.
Most fascinating to me is that the Chinese, being eminently practical, as well as superb business minds, are building wind farms and solar panels (actually installed, not 'planned'.) at a higher volume than the whole First World. They Have the unliveable cities to prove anthropogenic climate alteration is occurring, and want no more of it. So, America elects a used car saleman in bed with the now obsolete fossil oil industry. You can't write this stuff!

Nice propaganda... Record snow, record cold in Owyhee this morning. You know, the greatest thing about the global warming hoax? No one is falling for it any more. Sure, 99.999% of all scientists on the payroll toe the Democrat party line so they can get more funding next year, but it is consistently on the bottom of the list of things that voters are concerned about

(Hello Donald Trump)

A (weak) case could be made that climate change isn't man-made.

But to pretend it isn't happening is just ignoring the data.
