Did I use the $5.00 word for hair removal correctly?

Seriously, skin is skin, but I’m hoping for a male perspective. Depilatory creams like Nair are harsh. I can use them on my groin, but not my balls. They are also sensitive. It varies, but mine are so sensitive I can’t use Mentholated Barbasol. (Although Colgate regular is tolerable long enough to shave them.)

My problem is the hard spots. Balls are tough with nooks and crannies. (Where they meet the penis is another issue entirely.) Unless I put the sharp metal where I don’t want to, I can’t get all the ball hair. (Trust me, it isn’t a wuss factor. It is not an irrational fear. I have good reason to not put sharp metal there. The irrational stuff is for another post.)

My question is is there anything I can do to keep hair free on my balls besides shaving and depilatory creams not made for balls? I mean things I can do alone and without telling a twenty-two year old girl at the pharmacy why I want the ball hair remover.

According to my dictionary you got it right I can't help you with your balls (hehe) but i use a cream called "goochy cream" and it really helps with razor burn if that is helpful. It even comes in a few flavors.

What about waxing? i know there are home waxing kits, but you would need an extra helping hand, (pun intended) in using that type of thing.

Otherwise, since i don't have balls, i can't offer you any additional info.

One thing i know to avoid is using an Epilady, unless of course you are a masochist....in that case you might enjoy it.

Good luck,

They have genital nair. Well nair specifically made for the genitals. As well as nair made specifically for men. Not sure why they need female and male nair but hey...I was perusing the nair section in the local walmart this past weekend.

I didn't know that they made genital Nair - (runs to Walmart). I think shaving is great worked into a scene. You get a better shave and it can be extremely erotic. My former Dominant did not want me shaving - he wanted to do it himself and he would chide me the whole time for not doing it - it was a mental thing. Of course, I had to be paddled after. I loved it.

Try "Magic Shave Powder". It was formulated for black men who generally have more sensitive skin than caucasians. I've had good luck with it for genital hair removal. I believe it also comes in a cream now. Check your local pharmacy. If they ask, explain that you have extremely sensitive skin.

Or, go to a good salon and get waxed.

If you're looking for long-term hair removal, you might want to consider laser light treatments or electrolysis, though they're costly.

I shave my pubic area once a week. It is indeed difficult. I find it is so much better when someone else shaves me. You have to have trust in them. BUT that works for me.

Gloria,

I'm guessing but the difference may be that men have internal organs externally. (Balls in women are called "ovaries" and what ever God you worship had the good sense to NOT have them hanging between your legs.) I will look into different types of "Nair"

SherrieA,

I never thought of products for Black people. Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Kiss and sobrette,

Problem is I don't have someone else to shave me right now. It help though. (There is a guy who offered, but I prefer women. Just me. I guess I like the extra letters after "Dom".)

Proudsub and belongtoyou,

Thanks for taking the time to read this question. I had to delete so much to avoid accidentally offending people without balls. Geez, even that sentence seems weird. Thanks and I hope you understand I’m not attacking you for being of the un-testicular gender.

Wax.

Be advised, if you have no experience with wax it will probably be messy until you get the hang of it...and it'll probably hurt.

Not that that is a bad thing....

Nair now has a mens formula that is not as harsh to the skin as the original formula used by women. i have used this successfully to please Master. Yet, even this formula advises against using it on nips, genetalia, and the head. Everywhere else is fai game and must have its hair removed in this manner as it does not sart growing back for several weeks.

Also hair construction varies in men and women because of horomones, a gal like me after a few monthes of horomone therapy my hair will get finer and in some places I've heard that the hair just stops growing. So that is a reason for the differnet formulas for men and women.

lmbo you are too cute!! It's not easy saying things so they'll not offend. i know that well. Speaking as one without balls and one from the un-testicular gender i am not offended in the least. In fact i'm very happy with the equipment God gave me.
BTW i always thought it must be harder to shave those things too
~hugs~

P.S. Master says "let's not be egotesticle about it." That's a term He heard today and thought it was cute

I have a male friend who must be a pain slut, because he keeps his genital area "clean and tidy" by plucking them out one by one! Eeek! I have a hard enough time just plucking my eyebrows every week...

acckk i can't imagine.
A lil funny story. When Master was comming to visit me the first time after we became a couple ( we had met twice before becomming a couple) i decided to use the epil stop and spray. Since time was short i didn't do the skin test thing. Thankfully i just did my legs because Master wanted to do my privates.

i broke out in an awful rash all over both legs. It didn't even remove all the hair. So there i was with ugly red, painful and still partly hair legs. i was mortified.!!!!

Master was so wonderful though. He told me it was all ok and didn't do anything to cause my legs any more pain than they were already in, until they were all healed 5 days later

liljoy,
Believe it or not this is an extrememly common complaint. I sometimes work in a cosmetics department that sells this product and it got so bad that I warn people about the possible consequences before they buy it.
Consider yourself lucky, I have seen several cases that ended up in the hospital due to chemical burns.

iwill,
If you want to try waxing there is a product called Nads for Men that is a no-heat and almost goof-up-proof wax kit. It does get pricey though so if you are not sure this is what you want to do then look for something in the women's department this isn't so expensive.
Beware of the Magic Powder, it smells like rotton eggs and always do a patch test before starting just in case.

I tried Nads and found that it works, I guess it varies.
I also use sugar waxes, but they are very messy

Hey, I have two cuffs. I don't remember that happening..........

i wouldn't recommend wax as a method of hair removal for the testicles, especially not by someone using wax at home for the first time ( just my professional opinion though )

In waxing, the two most important things to be careful of would be burns, and ripping off a layer of skin or two. The skin on most mens' balls is very loose. Even a professional who is experienced with waxing and takes all of the precautionary measures into concideration could rip the skin right off the balls. That's gonna hurt, of course. Infection might then become a concern. Even in waxing other areas of the body where the skin is not so loose the problem can still occur if one is not experienced in waxing, and even sometimes with those who 'claim' to be experienced. This is an area which calls for extreme caution when involving the wax method for hair removal.

A proper waxing technique involves pulling the skin taunt and holding it taunt as the strip of wax is pulled off. The direction in which the wax is pulled is also important. The wax strip should be pulled against the direction of hair growth, while keeping the hand as close to the skin as possible (meaning don't pull UPWARDS & away from the skin).

Of course, it would all depend upon how loose the skin of the balls is. *i* wouldn't attempt to do it though, unless i can be certain that i know exactly what i am doing.

Aside from that, more food for thought which i feel obligated to mention in case anyone out there hasn't already thought of the possibility: Once wax is applied to testicles, whatever you do, DON'T let go of them !!! They could very well become glued to your thigh, or anus depending on how 'loose' they are. Go ahead and laugh! It can happen. Same message of caution should apply to any female who may decide to wax their southern regions as well. NO fun at all when those delicate folds of flesh become fused together accidentally.

The type of wax generally used in professional salons is almost impossible to wash off of the skin. Once that type of wax is on the skin there's not much room left for changing your mind about going through with it. There are other forms of wax which are much easier to remove, IE: sugaring wax. Sugaring waxes are water soluable. Unfortunately they do not adhere to thicker, coarse hairs (such as those found in the pubic regions) well enough. What happens in most cases is the wax strip is pulled, the pain is experienced, most of the hair is left intact (requires waxing the same area over & over again, not good for the skin & more likely for skin to be yanked off).

Not much more information or tips that i can think to offer on the subject of wax, other than if you do wax regularly over a long period of time, the hair follicles can suffer damage resulting in the hair not growing back, or at least those that do may be a bit finer in consistancy.

Regardless of my experience with the wax method of hair removal, i've not had a whole lot of success with waxing my southern regions entirely. i do wax the bikini area duirng the summer months, and reserve the rest of the area for shaving. Even with professional strength waxes, most times too many hairs end up left behind. i have always ended up having to 'reapply and repeat' numerous times. i'd rather shave with a razor. And of course, there are superior methods for doing that as well, and that's another thread.
