There's adult language, and then there's just being a rude little boy. It'd be nice to be able to carry on an intelligent conversation, without throwing around baseless accusations and calling childish names. As a rightwing nut job, I seem capable of expressing myself without resorting to the tactics of the earlier mentioned five year olds.

Lol sorry, your snark belies most of your comments thus far.
You arent looking for intelligent conversation.
Yanno, just based on your posts so far.

MusicMystery,

Of course people have the right to have their voices heard , and to protest PEACEFULLY. That is their 1st amendment right. What they don't have the right to do, is destroy public or private property because they can't control themselves and act like reasonable adults.

It would appear from the above that you have never had access to a history book written for someone beyond the fifth grade. This country started with a riot.
Google:
The boston masacre?
The boston tea party?
The civil war?
Violent protest are as amerikan as apple pie.

Not to put too fine a point on these but.....

The Boston masacre was an accident that resulted in 5 deaths all due to British fire and in fact was not called the “The Boston Massacre” until many years after it occurred in 1773. The first popular name popularized by Paul Revere was The Bloody Massacre in King Street. In the early 1800's it was also called the State Street Massacre.

The Boston Tea party was an act of vandalism took place at midnight under the cloak of darkness and was hardly violent.

After being knocked unconscious by a falling tea crate in the hold of a ship, John Crane was reportedly thought to be dead and hidden by his compatriots under a pile of wood shavings in a nearby carpenter’s shop. He awoke hours later, however, and was the only man harmed in the Boston Tea Party.

The civil war actually started in earnest, with cannon fire on Ft. Sumner.

Crispus attucks led a contengent of men against uniformed soldiers in an attempt to intimidate them...That is generally considered a riot. John adams defended the soldiers in court against charges of murder. In his closing remarks he characterized crispus attucks as a "shiftless nigger who if he had been at work and not a slaggard and lay about this unfortunate incident would never have happened". A pretty deep discussion of the trial in david mccoullough's recent biography of john adams.

Vandalism is a pretty tame term when one considers the dollar value of the tea destroyed. Yes they eventually paid for the cargo at wholesale plus freight.

Pretty serious riot.
