MrRodgers -> Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/16/2017 3:12:16 PM)

When it comes to whether the Trump administration has questionable ties to Russia, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul admitted Tuesday that he’s not interested in finding out.....

No, of course not...he's a republican.

"I just don’t think it’s useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party."

Of course not...see above.

Besides the fact that Paul essentially admitted that only Democrats should be subject to investigations, there are three things particularly troubling about his comments:

1. He thinks the President has “handled the situation.”

First and foremost, Trump has known for weeks that Michael Flynn was lying about his interactions with Russia. If Paul’s definition of handling a situation is to force Flynn to resign only after the story gets widespread media attention then, certainly, Trump has “handled the situation.”

2. He doesn’t think it’s “useful to be doing investigation after investigation.”

Really? Where was the Kentucky senator when Republicans in Congress were wasting taxpayer dollars doing “investigation after investigation” into the non-scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton and Benghazi? How about her emails? Now, after a legitimate scandal surfaces and prompts bipartisan outrage, he’s grown tired of investigating things.

3. Investigating the Trump administration’s ties to Russia is distracting the GOP from repealing Obamacare.

Instead of being concerned that an incoming administration was working with a foreign state and undermining American national security prior to even taking office, Sen. Paul is concerned that this whole mess will distract Congress from taking health insurance away from more than 20 million Americans.

Yea, better than worry about a national security advisor of the US exec. branch meeting with and talking to Russian govt. officials etc., let's get back to our important stuff...yet more partisan attacks on the previous admin. laws, say too...bank regs. coal regs. and labor law.

you know, you had a rather embarrassing go last week in your partisan hack/misrepresentation post about the state legislator in Tennessee. I would think you would have learned to be a little more circumspect with your rash hatred towards republicans.

it was well within Flynn's job description to be talking with diplomats from foreign countries.

an investigation is more warranted because there was a little time gap between trumps finding out and Flynn's resignation? right...

the fbi has interviewed Flynn and nothings been forthcoming from that. rand paul seems to know that.

when he is talking about "republicans shouldn't be investigating republicans" I don't take that to mean that only democrats should be the object of investigations but rather that any further investigating should be at the behest of the democrats.

that the republicans have other things to do is not rand paul hypocrisy, but an assessment of that he's looked at the situation, looked at what's been done, has found nothing significant and is content with the present outcome respectively, and is ready to move on.

quote:

I think that might be excessive. I think it looks like the President has handled the situation and unless there’s some kind of other evidence of malfeasance, this sounds like something that was internal White House politics and it looks like the President’s handled it.

you and the comrades in the media want to compare this to Benghazi? or Hillary Clinton actually breaking laws. those were not "legitimate scandals" but this is??

get a grip.

(nice bit of hyperbolic misrepresentation in point #3 too)

and oh, your case just got worse, mnottertroll's come to the defense!

You know, you always are having a rough week with your partisan hacking and factless nutsucker felchgobbling, It is never the job of a nobody without portfolio from the elected government to make deals or speak on behalf of America with our enemies over anything.

That job description is called traitor.

bounty44 -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/16/2017 6:33:27 PM)

never mind that mnottertroll has no idea as to the actual content of the conversation.

or that Russia is an "enemy?"

it might be the scotch...or that he lives amongst sooooo many trump voters.

tamaka -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/16/2017 6:35:45 PM)

Well traitor rhymes with hater and the left is starting to realize that calling everyone haters isn't working out so well for them so they are trying another rhyming word. They already tried all the words that end in 'phobe' and that didn't work either.

bounty44 -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/16/2017 6:48:25 PM)

I believe I have heard them use the word "dictator" around too...

could be a leftie rap song...

Grab aholt of your little peener, my retarded friend. You should familiarize yourself with the subject matter, something you are never at the ready with, and find out after you say really stupid shit, like now.

Yes, he or the sec. of state. That former 3 star gen., was still subject to filling out forms informing of his visit, who he was going to meet and he met with more than just 'foreigners' and getting permission neither of which he did. His position is as merely national security staff...nothing more.

This is particularly true given that Flynn was meeting with Russian govt. officials before Obama was out and just as [he] tightened sanctions. That alone would have the repubs going apocalyptic.

As has been said and written, if this has been HRC, the repubs would all over this like stink on shit.

BoscoX -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 9:51:35 AM)

You are a moron. If you had half a clue you would join Ron Paul because an investigation is going to pursue the alt left radicals committing these felonies

There is even a good chance that the direct tie to Obama will be exposed. Why do you think Obama did this on his way out -

Surprise: At the End, Obama Administration Gave NSA Broad New Powers

The answer is pretty damn obvious

mnottertail -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:13:46 AM)

And you are a fucking felchgobbling retard, now information that one intel agency gathers can be shared among intel agencies............isnt that sort of a fucking Duh? Or would you rather the FBI finds out that there is a terrorist plot but cannot share that with Homeland Security so the terrorists can come in on a flight because nutsuckers are fucking retarded?

That aint broad sweeping powers, the nutsuckers are the ones that spearheaded and passed the original tap the citizens phonelines law.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:25:40 AM)

The senate has enabled his every move - they are equally complicit and guilty….Why do they enable his every move - that’s what I doth no understandy?

I believe the senate is 52 pinko republicans and 48 alt left democrats.

Just give me one pinko republican that says I refuse to enable the mad kunto - they still keep the simple majority. Only this last month have i truly realized the full extent of the pinko republican pussy party, its nature and complete cowardice. A sight for pretty eyes they are not

they no longer have any mandate to remove or impeach creature - they must all go...some to hanging by dawns early light, some for a stoning. some for a Crucifixion, others fed to lions, others still hurled into a volcano, others smoted with a large stick, etc...none are worth a tar and feathering

smartasawhips -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:37:23 AM)

It's the liberal left who refuse to accept that President Trump, is indeed the president. And like a bunch of five year olds, they have gone kicking and screaming and dragging their heels. It's all become about what the liberals in the House and Senate want to express on a personal level, rather than the people they are supposed to be representing. It's time to grow a set and do what's right for this country, and stop stomping feet because of hurt feelings!

WickedsDesire -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:48:53 AM)

Liberal left is it now you paranoid dim wit! How do they differ from the alt left and liberals? You may answer when you come up from air when you are not suckling pinko commie spunk; full of the rabies and syphilitic cock foam and blithering incoherence and the blight. The only cure for brain rot is to be quarantined with a rather large stick and then being hurled onto a volcano – some say I am too kind.

Lucylastic -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:52:50 AM)

To paraphrase a traitor......If Hilary had one fifth of the things the SCROTUS has done, the SCROTUS would be in jail.

The right have accused her of treason.....but ignore this cluster fuck as He is doing his job well
Nuts, everyone of em.

smartasawhips -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 10:57:40 AM)

Wow, such language! Is that the extent of your IQ? Not surprising! Gee, let's review shall we? The liberals were jumping all over President Trump during the campaign, regarding whether or not he would accept the election results if Hildebeast won. Even she was saying that the Democrats would accept the results if mr. Trump won. Yet we have all these cry baby Dems who need a ridiculos coloring book, etc. Do you need a safety pin and a safety zone? So, who is paranoid?

Lucylastic -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 11:05:58 AM)

If you cant handle adult language, may we direct you to the butthurt lounge?, its full of things for the rightwing nut jobs who whinge like babies with their own emotional issues can find respite from reality. Fox news, breitbart, drudge and townhall on 24/7

Bring your own supplies.
You have all the spin words in your post, to qualify.

Hillary lost....get over it dood

WickedsDesire -> RE: Yet more outlandish, republican hypocrisy. (2/17/2017 11:10:03 AM)

Lucy did you find the #presidentbawbag *.gif yet?

Sorry dimasfukerywhips - I asked you the difference between a left liberal, liberal, and alt left (and cry baby dems is it now)..enlighten me, well as much as a fine jobbie like yourself can.

This time around, you shizo puddle of complete shittery, are you sure it was the liberals this time, not the left liberals or alt left or crying dems?
