I was "good" with my dominant - because I could make a cup of coffee and serve it to him, and keep the house clean, and basically do whatever he wanted me to do without arguing about it. That fit our definition of dominance/submission to a T. There are people I know that laughed at us, because for them, D/s took another route. To be very clichéd bout it, everyone has their own journey, and their own destination and there is very little in common with others. It might look similar from the outside, but inside, where it counts, it can be very different. Having said that, there are probably a few things that appear similar for most - like not arguing with your dominant in public. and note - I did say most. I'm quite sure there is a couple somewhere who get off on arguing in public and that is how they express their D/s. Nowt as queer as folk.
