He will only hang out with other women IF his wife was present. She claim that, Pence is basically declaring that he has no self-control to temptations. But LETS FACE IT! How many work place affairs are there? How many both men and women are cheating? Reality IS, ALOT of humans don't have self control. It's like if you know you are prone to unfaithfulness. And you don't want to hurt your wife at all. I think doing what Pence do as prevention for himself IS A VERY GOOD HUSBANDLY thing to do! I can't believe this silly woman is even giving him shit for something that I really respect and admire about him. Most men wouldn't do anything about it, EVEN IF THEY KNEW they can't control themselves. And would just hurt their wives. It's like, if you are addicted to Heroin. Then the point is to go cold turkey and STAY AWAY from heroin right? Same logic! Many women here would be praising the hell out of him! It shows he is taking very concrete actions to make sure he will never ever do that one thing that will make him lose his wife! Cheat on her! I was just thinking about Lamar Odom who cheated on Khloe blames it on, how suddenly every woman wants him, AFTER he was with Khloe and they were all coming after him, and he was weak. Yes that happens! There is also a group of women out there who find married men attractive! And sees it as a challenge to make him cheat on his wife! It's like a power thing over another woman. So what Pence did is like PRECISELY incase he can't control himself. He is Governor, so he has Status. And he is a faithful married man. Such men are like beacons of challenges to women who enjoys such challenges and breaking him. He is taking precautions because he fear he might be weak. HE is doing the right thing!

He's clearly afraid of putting a baby into some poor woman's stomach by merely being in the same room with them. Prudent measures.

i have no prob with how they conduct their marriage. but as he just voted the tied vote to defund planned parenthood today, i have a problem when his choice takes away anyone elses right to conduct their relationship issues their way.

Dave Ramsey has similar personal protocols around women who aren't his wife, including refusing to be on an elevator alone with another woman. I don't blame him one bit. I don't blame Pence for staying squeaky clean. He will be a much more attractive replacement when Trump is impeached. [;)]

Pences stance on women isnt unusual, he is sharia lite, a talibangelical, just like anyone else trying to take away the rights of women.

My x-boss who was male and married and American also practiced such protocol. Like no matter what, he will never be alone in his office with a female staff. He openly say, this is the policy to prevent any false "sexual harrassment" accusation. Obviously he has been burnt in the past. So he announced the policy to let every female know, that if they have having a one on one with him, his PA will always have to be present too. No real one on one. No really private meetings with women. And yes, this means male employees get private one on one with him, but not females. But I don't begrudge that rule as he is protecting himself. One false sexual harassment accusation with police report would mess up his life alot.

Post three Which is not relevant on this topic, because we are discussing the article where the huff post lady shamed him for his policy of not allowing him to be alone with women. The problem with pro-life policies is, it is not a "male against woman" thingy. Many fundie women are against planned parenthood too. It's easy to argue with a man about this because they don't have wombs. But when women are supporting pro-life policies. That is some war to fight. But the woman in the article is trying to say that Pence is oppressing women opportunities by refusing to be alone with them. And I also disagree with the article that women couldn't have the same policy as men. When they are up there, they can if they choose to. All she needs to say is, "Out of respect to my husband." Most people will understand.

it is directly involved in this I also said his marriage was his business but when he makes other women live the way he wants, I do have a problem with it. You many not want to think its connected, but its part of his character, and hypocrisy. Part of his platform, has been for many years, look up his stance I didnt say it was a male against female thing. Its a right wing fundy thing. Im not commenting on what the people think, Im talking about his actions and his hypocrisy. Hes a sexist pig. who wants to force birth women there is a lot of it about.
