LOL so your way of reconciling free will and the omniscience of the thing you worship is to deny the omniscience of the thing you worship.
Too fucking funny.

No, I just don't limit God to what you think he should be and I'm sure that God doesn't limit himself to your understanding of what omniscience is either.

I'm sure 'God' isn't limited to your specific religion's understanding/belief is either... if in fact there is a god.

If the human parents of all of mankind were imperfect where did they come up with perfect to pass on to their children so they wouldn't get diseases?

If they were imperfect it is because the thing you worship made them that way, so it is punishing them for something it did deliberately.

Once again you are not taking the time to think through your posts.

Something can be made perfect but someone other than the creator can make that thing imperfect. A new car can be driven safely or crashed, once crashed it is no longer a new car, does that mean it was never a new car?

As for the survival of the diseases, how do you know that those diseases couldn't have used other animals as hosts?

Ah, so when humanity became imperfect, the microbes evolved to infect and harm humans. Interesting.

Evolved? Why would they have to "evolve"? Once mankind became imperfect they no longer had a perfect immune system to fend off the diseases that would never have been a problem to them if they had been perfect. So, no evolving, devolving perhaps but no evolving.

regardless of what people believe for or against one thing that lends itself to a fair amount of difficulty in most peoples minds is that everything in the universe is balanced with a counter or opposite, dark/light, predator/prey which of course includes viruses and the bodies ability to fight them.

the argument about why there bad things frankly lacks even a micro minimal accounting of life in the universe and fails miserably. when a virus kills someone its bad for the someone but awesome for the virus as the virus thrives, likewise in reverse when man kills a virus, man thrives.

Now all that said, man does not act on instinct alone, the wild card is free will.

Yes... like God in Genesis wanted us to be naked. We were perfect naked. But then we 'fell' and decided to clothe ourselves. So if you want to 'return to what God wants'... be a nudist. In fact, everyone who is 'saved' should go to church nude and worship God like he intended.

I never said God was limited to my "specific religion's understanding/belief"

Personally, I know there is God but my knowing God's existence is a "fact" isn't proof to others that God exists.

So, when others try to "prove" God doesn't exist, I merely point out reasons why I think their reasoning may be faulty and I have never expected God to conform to my limited powers of reasoning.

Actually in Genesis, God didn't care if we were naked or not, that had nothing to do with perfection, it was only after mankind had sinned that they "discovered" they were naked and tried to hide their nakedness from God.

Yep. The nakedness was part of the perfection. To have a mindset that to be unashamed of our bodies and living in a nude state with each other.

Jesus man, this "god"you proclaim is obviously a complete fuck up, your every explanation is "Well he doesn't know what the fuck he is doing and has no actual power, but it is all our fault.

Fucking pathetic, but exactly the sad ridiculous bullshit explanations I expected. They are the same empty meaningless excuses they gave me in catechism class back in grade school.

My explanation was not; "Well he doesn't know what the fuck he is doing and has no actual power, but it is all our fault", not even close. But then I pretty much knew this would be your reaction no matter what I said.

What I actually was saying is that God knows exactly what he's doing, he's allowing us to have and use "Free Will" and that it is not his fault but ours if we misuse that precious gift. Also that he is powerful enough to correct that misuse without having to take "Free Will" away from us even though the majority of mankind continues to misuse that "Free Will" to its detriment.

I thought the theodicy dodge was out of fashion these days?

And you think this little piece of vacuous fluff is somehow a disproof of what I said?

Yep, I have to say, you really sank my ship with your cap gun on this one.

Maybe you should go change your diaper and then run along and go play with someone your own age cause you continue to show you are just out of your league.

Because it's a branch of religious philosophy that only exists in order to make excuses for God, most of which are more than a little unconvincing. Why else?
