Lol. You've forgotten what I said about name calling, Dizzy! Sticks and stones! It's clear that it's you that doesn't know how the internet is supposed to work. Forums can be a great medium for learning, discussion and exchanging ideas. Did you know that’s what forums are intended for? Unfortunately, there will be trolls that abuse people, but on a well managed forum they usually get banned pretty quickly.

I’m a member of dozens of forums, mostly connected to my work. They all have a set of rules or guidelines that members agree to adhere to. In fairness, that quote was a response to Dizzy, who accused me of not knowing how the internet works! I'm sure my post was not applicable to most of the "established posters" here.

I'm not looking for anyone to bow down. Far from it. I enjoy reasoned discussion with all people. I'm even prepared for a proper debate with Dizzy, but she doesn't seem to want that.

Responding to a thread by telling the OP to "Fuck off" is not acceptable on any forum including this one! The forum rules are quite clear about that. I didn't make the rules!

It used to be, underage minors was a priority for mods, admin and the site.
There is nothing that the users can do right now but report it, to either admin or the law.

Fair enough. My bad on the last part of that post. I didn't intend any straw man though. The question I asked her was in response to her saying to me - "Oh fuck off with your stupidity". I was attempting to get the thread back on topic and get Dizzy to comment on the OP.

I admit I shouldn't have said the last bit to Dizzy, so apologise to her and anyone else who may have been offended by those remarks.
It was the result of exasperation on my part, having been flamed three times by Dizzy at that stage without any justification that I could see. As an adult I should have just ignored her though, so again, my error.

I still don't know why anyone would get so bent out of shape with someone because they posted a thread about minors using the site? I have a theory, but I'll keep it to myself. No point fanning the flames eh?

I totally agree it's not a well run site. Maybe I'll have another go at posting a thread sometime in the future, if the moderators ever come back. Right now though I have more than enough drama in my life without the need for flame fests! Lol.
