Apparently, the "happy ending" here is that the father who so wanted to do for this for his son was denied. Another way was found, keeping dad locked up for misdemeanors.

"Family values."

For the very last time:

The only concern I've ever had in all of this is for the child.

Thank you for your attention.

That is all.

I don't know how to break this to you, but praying for that black motherfucker to stay and jail, like you always do, is not exactly the most Catholic way to go about being a Catholic.

The father of the child being able to donate a part of his body for sake of life of his child is as 'family' and thereby as Catholic as it gets.

You are a pretend Catholic.

Catholics consider parenthood or at least whatever available as essential to the child.
\
Catholics have never considered perfect parenthood or perfect anything as being essential.

The issue I have is that past popes just kept saying "have more babies!" with out having to suffer the repercussions themselves which they foisted on millions of families and poor mothers.

So, here's some news you can use; I don't give a flying fuck about the pope, whichever one you or I or anyone else care's about. You seem to not care at all about mothers or fathers, which is very un-Catholic.

And in other news, hearing a mother break down and cry in the middle of reading her missal before she goes to bed (as she was taught, or else she goes to hell) because all the missal does is tell her how inadequate she is, makes me want to prevent them from having 8 kids all the time.

If you want less abortions, kill the fucking pope, yours or mine doesn't matter to me.

If you honestly only care about the child, Kill the fucking pope.

Nice try at misstating my opinion, ronnie, but that's why you could only pull a small snippet.

I, absolutely did not pray for the father to stay in jail, you lying turd.

I prayed that the hospital would do the right thing and allow the father to save his child's life.

So go shove that "trying to paint me as a racist" shit back up your ass, ronnie.

Ahhh! Strategic editing! I'm glad I grabbed this so everyone can see what a lying turd you are.

Nice try.

Your "happy news!" post had nothing to do with the father.

Any honest Catholic would be saddened by the father being so intentionally left out of it, and being denied his parental wish to do as best he could for his child. The baby would have clearly been better served by his fater's wishes in this case.

That family disunity is nothing to be prayed for or be joyous about.

Not for a real Catholic, anyway.

EXACTLY!!!

I said NOTHING ABOUT the FATHER, but you tried to twist it that way, ronnie.

I don't know why you hate me and I don't care, but your bullshit is going to stop. I guarantee it.

Go relax and have some o' that "Travelers' Jizz" you love so much.

You're such a lying turd:

quote:

ORIGINAL: DaddySatyr Post

I "lost my religion", years ago when events led me to believe that the Traditional Catholic Church had - by their actions - lied to me while claiming to speak for God. That is unacceptable.

I still know the day I stopped being a Traditional Catholic. It was 11 DEC, 2001.

Putting to the side that I had always had some questions about Catholic Dogma (not the big stuff; just minor things), I could never be a "buffet-style" Catholic. if I can't be comfortable with everything a religion teaches/expects of me, I'd rather not be a hypocrite.

I have found my solace in The Universal Unitarian faith. I have found them to be open-minded enough where their dogma agrees with my thoughts on faith; if someone presents a new fact that has some evidence to back it up, I have no issue saying: "Well, I need to re-think this."

Also, not many seem to have an issue with my espousal of the Gnostic Gospels which is something that the Catholic church (interestingly enough) planted the seeds for in my brain.

Then, there's this from 2011, you turd:

No, shirley (since you insist on calling me 'ronnie'), it doesn't matter to me whether you kicked your own sorry ass out of the church or Vatican II did it for you, the point is that honest Catholicism was never in you in the first place.

You have no clue what it was ever about, and never did. You are just a fucking Calvinista, hiding under the skirts of some off-shoot of the Church.

I haven't been to mass in 25 years, and am not a christian even before then, but at least I got some real sense of 'family values' which I saw from everyday experience meant that my mother was going through a ton of hell because of all the popes insistence on "have babies!"

So screw you if you don't give a shit about mothers, which you obviously DON'T, which therefore marks you as having not the slightest clue about Catholicism, popes aside.

I call you "ronnie", ronnie because that's who you are. I knew it, when you were Edweird, long ago and came up with that bullshit story about a "glitch", causing the site to "assign" you this name. No matter how many names you make, you just can't seem to help getting your sorry ass bounced.

Anyway, think back, all those years ago, when you were going to mass and explain to me what part of Catholic dogma tells you that you can know what's in another man's heart?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

Sorry, ronnie. Move the goalposts all you like. First, you try to accuse me of being a racist. When that fails, you pretend I still claim to be a Catholic. When that fails, you start assailing any kind or amount of faith I have.

What your main premise lacks is that it's not just Catholics who pray.

Your knowledge of religion seems to be about on par with your knowledge of me and my thoughts.

You suck at this, ronnie. Go away, fool.

Okay, so . . . how do we get 'ronnie' from 'Ed' anything? Got any idea for us what 'ronnie' variant I was then?

It wasn't dogma or catechism that did it, I was just born to the spirit. It went Okay at first, but eventually they screwed it all up. Or eventually I came to the realisation. Whatever.

quote:

I didn't 'accuse,' I just pointed out the obvious.

quote:

you pretend I still claim to be a Catholic.

No, I just said that you never had any predisposition to being a Catholic in the first place, nor certainly any predisposition of concern for family in the first place.

Again with the selective quotes.

Poor ronnie.

You used to be good at this. I wonder why your skills have deteriorated so? I hope it's nothing serious.

You have my pity, ronnie.

Expound and explain, then. Especially about how you got from Ed(whatever) to 'ronnie,'

I have only ever been Ed, here.

I only left out the last sentence of your post, in any case.

Not cherry picking.

Yeah, just one sentence ... Go back over the whole exchange, mental midget.

Anyway, you're to slow to keep up so ...

But to get back to your righteous indignation artifice . . .

It is completely oblivious of reality to proclaim "I only care about the child!" with out considering those who begot the child, however much nature or even the Church says to the contrary.

Thank you for the update.

While it's sad that another family lost their child (the donor) at least little AJ got the life saving procedure that he needed.

Geez Edwird!

The father fuck up and couldn't save his own child due to his fuck up and the american system not willing to bend over and having this long thick red tape blocking everything. And by some damn lucky fluke, they found the child another match in time. Some people can't even find donors or other matches.

The father didn't lose his child. It's good news!

Man while in my country, I am reading about people waiting for years for a kidney. Because not enough donors or matches.

Well, now you see why the US is a much more advanced country than Singapore.

We lock up fathers and keep them from being fathers if commiting three -misdemeanors-, being that we are rich enough to import kidneys and hearts and livers from whatever country we've stomped on lately, or 30 or 60 years ago.

Point out anywhere in my posts that indicated I was not happy about the outcome for the child.

I was just pointing out that this is about the most anti-family way of going about it.

And so, to US or Singaporean or who's ever notion about "political conservatism" being about 'family values'; just stop with the claptrap.

I don't think it has anything to do with wealth, since selling of kidneys is illegal. If kidneys can be purchased legally, then I don't think we would have kidney shortages. As wealth is never the issue for our country. That is where we got muscle.

But to do with , US has 300 million people worth of kidneys to harvest from. Whereas, we only got 2.1Mil of Singaporeans and 60% seniors, which I would assume are not ideal kidneys. So we got lesser kidneys of choice.

Yea I don't know why you are attacking DS point that it's good news when it is good news.

I don't think it's anti-family, more about red tape and inflexibility of the law, and not wanting to give special treatment to this situation, because the father disobey the law.

Oh just shut up.

You cheered every Trump attack upon American citizens that weren't white enough (which is all he did).

Such red tape and inflexibility of the law -as put into place by REPUBLICANS- ('political conservatives'), those 'get the government off our backs!' policies that REAGAN transferred from the corporations to now being squarely on the backs of the poor. A lot like it is in Singapore and other third world countries, for now and the next 100 yrs., TBH.

What flies completely over your and every other so-called "political conservative"'s head is that I don't give a flying fuck about your ideology once you have made clear that by such ideology you don't give a flying fuck about family.
