I would like to see the budget report and how those words were used (in context.) Some of them don't seem to be relevant to a CDC budget plan. Very Strange times we live in.

It could be a big deal if things like Social Vulnerability Indexes and services are part of the CDC budget and are being effected by verbiage 'bans'. I'm not at all certain why "science-based" would be banned, unless it was used in context in an inflammatory manner? In a budget proposal?

FR. Considering how many scientists, of all kinds are being replaced with trumps "experts" not just in health, but the EPA and other departments. No Im not looking it, up... science is a bad thing I guess First amendment rights, facts, and social issues are baddddddd I guess refusing permission to do research on guns deaths was the start.Lobbyists.... I guess changing words is a start, then banning books and materials that could or should make a difference to health, or any other scientific policy. what is the point of it, its petty, and probably not going to "work" why the fuck should it? this administration proves that rock bottom has a basement

Isn't it the job of the CDC to determine what areas or populations are vulnerable to any given disease? Are the elderly no longer vulnerable to the flu? Can the CDC discuss fetal alcohol syndrome without mentioning the fetus?

This would include requests for funding for future projects, increases or reallocation of operating funds, and variance reports against current budget. Having prepared budgets and prepared variance reports in the corporate world for over 15 years, I know what sorts of things are in them. I would say, in this case, there is a far greater chance of Mitch McConnell announcing this week that he is becoming a Democrat and that he secretly is a woman than me being wrong about this.
