He, didn't just say there should be more openness and transparency with electronic voting. He said there is a real issue with the security of our voting machines.
A very specific statement. He very obviously did. But that is just him.

People exercising their free speech doesn't concern me. If there are bad ideas or narratives making the circle the ideal counter is more free speech rather than less

It should be far more concerning to critical thinkers that a certain cult has the federal government colluding with massive corporations, their vast media empires, Google, Youtube, Microsoft, social media giants and others to limit the reach of alternative viewpoints to their broader cult narratives, and to otherwise strictly limit who may post what on social media.

"How dare someone on Fox News say something I don't like" is infantile thinking. The ONE network out of many that has oppositional viewpoints to the corporate media is VALUABLE, rather than a liability. The only danger I see, is that the cultists may get their way and something happens to it

SCENARIO B: One major news media outlet (FNC) spent a few months reporting about the possibility that the 2020 election may have been rigged in favor of Biden despite the fact that *at the time* management and some of the talent didn’t believe that was actually true.

One of the machines in question — the Diebold AccuVote 2000 — even has a name straight out of Marvel Comics.

“Hacking Democracy,” the documentary that has its premiere tonight, is disturbing stuff — enough that the Diebold Election Systems president, David Byrd, in a letter to the HBO chairman and chief executive Chris Albrecht, said the film was so filled with errors that HBO should not show it. An HBO spokesman has said the company stands by the work.

The film tells its cautionary tale largely through Bev Harris, a publicist and grandmother from Seattle and founder of Black Box Voting, a nonprofit consumer-protection group. Ms. Harris is not an angular avenger who could be played by Joan Allen or Sigourney Weaver; rather she brings to mind Rosie O’Donnell, or Debra Mooney from “Everwood.”

Since neither of these scenarios actually happened as you describe, it is really moot.
