It would be nice to have a conservative around again. Nicer if they could actually support their views in discussion, as opposed to regurgitating the standard spiel from FIX News.

I don't care where you get your news, I just care that you do more than just trust the headlines as fact. And facts should be used, not hyperbole.

But we need more discussions here for sure. More intelligent discussions of the real issues.

Haven't been here for a while but feel I need to reply here. There are more George Wallace for pres. posters still hanging in Harlem then there are conservatives in Wash., or in academia.

I moved with family to just outside D.C. way back in the 1960s and when Reagan was elected and then pursued tax [rate] cuts on a bullshit theory and a huge Navy [military] build up at the same time, many red voters in what was still a red state, left the repubs to join me as an independent because nothing he did was conservative.

Small govt. conservatives don't add 140,000 bureaucrats and raise the payroll tax to mitigate greedy, for-profit govt. debt. Then Reagan screwed labor and began a $50 trillion transfer of wealth from labor to capital and ruined America.

At no time since, has any repub been a conservative. They are warmongering, greedy, autocrats and fascists now.

That place's groups will kick off anyone left of Hitler. Facts and reality do not matter. I take it that is the part you don't like? I saw it coming and called most of those Garry Glitter and Jimmy Saville groups cult.

Many people are not aware this place is up and running.

You mean that other place has cult like group creators and moderators and if you don't buy into their flat earth head warping codswallop and over throw democracy then you get a permanent ban from said group. Both sides are guilty but most of those groups are now controlled by the right. And that Right I no longer recognize as being sane.

Here? He should have made a few announcements but to best of my knowledge in over 20 years he hasn't.

I can tell you a few people tried to do something about both.

Tbh I for sure would not mind new posters over here but also sadly miss many old ones (btw welcome back wd good to see and read you again). It could be inspirational at times then before the lockdown. Has anyone ever explained why collarchat was off for years?

Hopefully we will see many of them back but this site has been erratic, for what, 10 years? Some people may have given up looking at its status and functionality.

The political group certainty needs the right back. Yes. even that one. I take it the right are more feral than even I remember?

The groups need to add in Kinky geeks science.... reading Cooking etc. I messaged an admin who knows if they listen these days. I asked them if they can make the odd site announcement from time to time on the groups - they have a group for that.
