Evening red . I loved the times on Carol Burnett when they would all start giggling, especially Harvey Korman.

Hi Level...

Wasn't that the best?  I was a little girl when I would sit and watch that show.  I used to just roll, even then.  She was my idol, and still is, female comic speaking.  She was the best and didn't have to be crude or anything to get a laugh.  I think I also liked that she was a redhead, and when I was little, not many other gals were red, so I kinda "dug" her.  I sit and think of those skits and can still fall out remeniscing...  I loved Nora Desmond...

"Max..."
"Yes, Madam..."
"Don't let them near me, Max..."
"Of course not, Madam..."

Or...

Mrs-a-wiggins............hello.......?

Evening MoGa . The more we talk about these great shows the more I miss them *sighs*. But then again, we could likely make an "all time worst" tv thread and most of the dreck would come from that same time period .

I think almost everyone on the Kroft Superstars was on pot, Sigmund the SeaMonster, Freddie the Magic Flute, the Bugaloos...  probably the entire cast of the Electric Company...  wow, the '70's were just when I was at my most tender years and most impressionable...

I'm surprised I can even read...  ROFLMAO!!!!

No, Buffy and Jody were on "Family Affair". Brian Keith and Salvestor Cabot (Sorry about the chop up of his name) also starred. Jody (Johnny Wittaker later comitted suicide..or was it the girl? One of the "twins" did.

Buffy killd herself and Jody went on to do some really horrible movies.

Tattoo from Fantasy Island committed suicide too.  I loved that show as a kid. I think I watched it just to see the "Dee plane" part.

Another show I really liked was Hart to Hart.

Thank you MistressLorelei,
I couldnt remember which died, but knew one of them did. I had not heard about the little guy from Fantasy Island. I dont understand suicide at all. I view it as the ultimate act of selfishness. Just my own experience here.

There was a comedian i heard once on Bob & Tom (don't know if you're familiar, but they have a morning radio show broadcasted all across the country) who did all the Mayberry characters on pot.  It was hysterical.  i wish i could remember who it was, but it was a riot.

Yes Tigresse, he was the rock throwing hillbilliy lol .

Some of the funniest radio I've ever heard is comedian Craig Shoemaker doing his spot-on impersonations of the whole Mayberry gang using pot LOL.

Babylon 5 (all time favorite)
Buffy/Angel (loved them both)
The Pretender (got it on DVD and love it even more the 2nd time around)
Reno 911 (my son yells at me from the other room because I'm laughing so loud)
Monk

and a few shows that didn't last long but I loved
Freaks and Geeks, Popular, Joan of Arcadia and Brisco County Junior

It was fun reading everyone's lists. A lot of shows I'd forgotten about. Fun thread!

It was on my list.. I love this show.  They would have a marathon on BBC America sometimes, I would sit thru the whole thing..and laugh my ass off.  You are the first person I have met (well..sort of..lol) that has even heard of it.

It for sure has to be one of the funniest shows ever made.  I will get this whole DVD set...
