*Singing. Everywhere from the shower, and the car, to my local symphony's chorus, and an occasional local community theater play (usually in a chorus, although I've had actual acting parts, too - but not for several years). My late mother was a music teacher (although I am not positive that has that much to do with me liking it, since I didn't really get that "into" it until I was an adult). And *Cooking. Everything from baking tons of cookies at Christmas for anyone-everyone who will eat them, to more "gourmet" stuff. Not sure where that interest comes from since nobody in my family liked cooking, particularly. But I always did, since I was about eight years old and first made spaghetti. I cooked a lot growing up, because my mom really disliked cooking, and tended to make Hamburger Helper five nights out of seven. I did it because she let me (and I really was a better cook - even she said so). I also like to draw, but mostly singing and cooking. I only draw when somebody asks me to do a portrait (which actually hasn't been for almost a year now). My grandma taught me to draw (she went to the Kansas City Art Institute, and was a student when Walt Disney went there. She is dead now, as he is). I also love to read, but for some reason mostly end up reading newspapers (local, and NY Times, Wall Street Journal) and news magazines (TIME, NewsWeek), although I occasionally read novels. I've just always liked to read. I'll read anything. When I was a child, I used to open up the bathroom cabinets and read the backs of bottles of medicine and try to pronounce the ingredients - for fun (I was one weird child, he). I like movies, too - and love my DVD player and Blockbuster. - Susan
