Foot worship is a fetish one comes across quite regularly nowadays, seeing it on TV or in movies, it seems to be more mainstream than most other fetishes. But in all its appearances, it is usually men worshipping women. I was curious to know if women also have this fetish, to worship a man's feet.

I don't consider it a fetish, but I had a dominant who loved to have his feet massaged and worshipped.. It became a standard activity every time we were together. I enjoyed it very much and my enthusiasm pleased him. The time spent washing and massaging his feet was an opportunity to talk about things, share stories from our day, etc. Then the actual foot worship was the settling into my submissive head space. It became a ritual that worked well for us.

Well firstly, males rarely have a foot WORSHIP fetish, they just have a foot fetish. Secondly, females rarely have "true" fetishes.

But yes, some do.

Body worship is something that a lot of people do love and get into however, for various reasons.

For me worship is pretty much just that- it's a head/spirit place that is divine, it is focused energy, in which the persons body becomes the conduit for your love and devotion, for your sacrifice and your prayers. You are a pilgrim allowed to kneel at the alter of their flesh.

Lots of people who are religious, particularly monotheists, do not get into body worship kinks.

I worship Master and in doing so I worship his feet. This is not a fetish; this is a display of love, respect and devotion. I don't give a second glance to anyone else's feet.

I agree that true fetishes are pretty rare in my gender. I do have an attraction to feet as I do the entire person, and have kissed and worshiped a Master's feet. Like the others have said here it's a sign of devotion and submission.

Great post! One of the world's great monotheistic faith's makes a large deal of washing someone's feet as a sign of submission. So the symbolism of kneeling at someone's feet was not lost on those folks :)

Which piece of research did you read that made you make this blanket statement?

We're both major foot sluts. As far as who rubs who's feet any particular time, depends who is in more pain. But we both, after the rubbing, find that toe sucking is very erogenous.

I don't find anything particularly interesting about feet although I think that a pedicure and pretty sandals look nice.

The only thing I take special interest in with my Master's feet is kneeling at them.
