I started collecting smurfs years before they came to this country.   I was told by the US rep that I had the largest collection in the US (well I did, before my grand daughters found them)

i mainly collect photos and books (1000's). Also bears, tea pots, wooden boxes, and Santas. i used to make and sell old world santas.  My recent collection drive is anything Halloween.  i love being able to take out my "holiday stuff" each year to enjoy it.

Just looking around my office ... pens, stationary, watches ... mostly of the pocket variety, old money ... both bills and coins from around the world, sunglasses, dragons and other mythological beings, stuffed animals, books galore, cross stitch supplies ... I even do a bit every once and awhile, t-shirts from causes I'm involved in, tins, interesting little boxes, antiques, original art proofs of some artist friends, movies, cd's, zippo's ... and not necessarily in that order.

I'm not even going to venture into the rest of the house ... but as I type my girlfriend on the phone said I should add people and favors to my list.

I'm a bit of a packrat...far too many books (mostly horror, scifi, and fantasy) and movies (B stuff, for the most part) and never enough time to enjoy them all.
