Iron Bear's Test for "No Limit Slaves"

Seat slave in chair. Load two live rounds into the cylinder of a revolver. Spin the cylinder and point the weapon at as sand bucket. Squeeze the triger untill one round is fired to show you have live ammuniton in the revolver.

Place the barrel against the slave's temple and ask if she want's you to squeeze the trigger. If she says yes, she will put her life on the line for you and you need to collar her pronto for you have a true rarety.

If she askes(begs) you to stop you have exposed her "No Limits" BS.

in rare circumstances i can absolutely see myself putting my life on the line for Another... that doesn't make me 'no-limit'... because if that same "Another" asked me to do harm to another i would not... therein lies my limits...

Iron Bear,

Wouldn't you asking her if she wanted you to pull the trigger and her saying no be a relevant choice and not really indicative of whether or not she had limits or not? - You did ask her if it's what SHE wanted after all. Wouldn't the REAL test be - "Slave, i want to pull this trigger and blow your brains out so i have something to amuse myself with this afternoon" - Then if she begs you not to or screams NOOOOOOO - she's found a limit

I often wonder what is really at the base of all of this no limits bs. Is it stupidity, or just arrogance?

velvet, I agree with you. However, for me it just wouldn't be cricket to do this to a slave. She deserves a choice of living or dying..

For serious interogation? No options I would and have squeezed the trigger. besides I refuse to clean up the mess when they shit their pants.

Taking a life is not an option of choice in western society. or encouraging another to do so. Either way is still murder.

Putting your life on the line for another  is different then simply ending it on someone's whim.  Some women who get pregnant and give birth put their life on the line for their unborn unmentionable.  i once jumped over a barrier onto a highway to save a women whose car was struck.  She was in shock from a head injury and wandered onto the highway.  She would have been hit by the oncoming cars, and we both almost lost our lives that day, and when it was all over, and i was home it shook me that i almost died that day - and i would probably do it again if the circumstance happened again.

i agree with you - i would never harm another on someone elses command.

I prefer complimentary insanity.  The garden variety is just annoying.

well this thread can be turned anyway you choose to turn it... (it's not an emotional one for me... it's educational)... i didn't intend to specify strictly in a Master/slave (only 2 involved) scenerio... what i am trying (although poorly, apparently) is that regardless of who you are.... you DO have limits and the blanket statement 'i am a no-limit slave' (assuming that said slave of course is not bound, chained and gagged 24/7)... does not (imo at this moment), exist.

Staying away from my personal perspective in the question I do have to wonder, similar to LaM why in the world it matters what other people do and how you'd know whether every single person has limits?

Thats whats always perplexed me more so than the whole "no limits" thing is why in the world concepts like that seem so down to the bone threatening to people?  I can totally get not agreeing with it but there seems to be more than that going on a lot of times in discussions.

I once had a look at a machine in a wood processing plant. It consisted of a chute leading down to a set of huge, ultra high speed, multiple blades. It was godawful noisy, made a sound like fifty power saws revved up. A two by four scrap tossed in made it hum a bit, and throw up a splinter or two, it didn't even slow down.

They called this mechanical nightmare "the hog". I can see why, it ate anything, and puffed out dust. Now if I really wanted to test for a "no limits slave" I'd show her a machine like this, demonstrate with the bit of wood....close the cover to the chute.........and tell her to jump in.

Then open it again,(opening it the second time would drop a grate inside that kept her from falling into the blades, but still let it roar)

If she didn't there would be a limit.

If she did, I'd know I had a suicidal nutcase on my hands.

And I'd have found a limit.

if i came across as threatened in any way, by anyone... then that was most DEFINITELY not my intent... if others have felt threatened by this thread... well, although that also was not my intent, there is very little i can do about it.

Oh, so now you want to negotiate a bunch of goddamn no limits?

I daresay not.

The contract was made.

Why when something is debated and opinions are strong does the word "threatened" always seem to come up?

I don't personally feel threatened.  I don't identify as having no limits, I identify as having my owner's limits (and my limits have had to shift in order to not have anything off boundaries from him).

But I do find it interesting that no limits and obedience type threads do seem to bring out a particular type of response.  What led me to think that maybe you were feeling threatened is that I find when people feel the need to universally say what *everyone* is or should be doing (like the presence or absence of limits) then it says something about whats going on within them personally.   Because to me there's a huge leap between saying what works personally (or even what what one's personal ethics/beliefs are) to saying how *everyone* does something.

Because many people seem threatened by it.  We've been discussing "no limits" slaves for months and months now; this is hardly the first time the subject has come up, and hardly the first time that crusaders boldly announced their intention to interfere in other people's relationships the minute that something "wrong," or "insane," or "illegal" should come to pass.  When people state such melodramatic opinions in frenzied language, bystanders can be expected to think they're perceiving some kind of threat.

Just look at angelic's response to Level's question in this very thread.  He asked:

quote:

If the slave and dominant don't think it is abuse, does anyone else have the right to override their wishes?

And her breathless response was:

quote:

absolutely if they, as a "No Limit" couple want to do damage to me or mine... you bet it's my job... it's my job if i see these "No Limit" couples wanting to do damage to any third arbitrary person or thing...

Only someone who feels threatened in some visceral and irrational way would ever answer like that.  The question didn't have anything to do with a "third arbitrary person."  And yet people like angelic always seem to think that THEY'RE being endangered when SOMEONE ELSE leads a dangerous life.
