Dear All,

Please dont take this the wrong way but i just would like some guidance on my profile, are there any suggestions to add or take out of my profile as i am not having too much luck at the moment.

i am trying to get a bit about my vanilla life in there as well as a few likes and dislikes but should it be more specific with regards to BDSM or not??

Any input will be greatly received and thanks in advance for any help! If you do not wish to respond here then private messages are welcome as long as they are constructive and not just being nasty (not that i mind those type of messages LOL)

YIKES ... change the colors, it gave me a headache just trying to read it. I got as far as your age (27) and your location (Bath), before sprinting for the Motrin *lol*. Seriously ... tone the colors down, that would be a beginning.

As for the details ... You have quite a few listed ... pretty well rounded, most of the problem at least with me is the colors you've used. And ... face forward in the picture. Nothing nasty ... as we've all seen it ... just a tasteful picture. Do you have pets, smoke, drink, been married ... what led you to be a submissive? Things like that would pull an interested Dom/Domme your way.

Yes, please, change the colors. Good ol' black and white works well.

Instead of using the phrase "true submissive male" describe what that means to you instead. That phrase, I can almost guarentee you, says one thing to me and another to you.

What do you have to offer a relationship, be it play or 24/7? What skills do you bring to your service? What are you looking for in a partner? Etc. etc.

Do a search about improving profiles...there's been a lot being said lately and the forum archives are a great tool.

Thanks for the replies so far, i must admit i forgot to get the colours changed a few days after i joined as they seemed to be playing up when i first joined!! Oops will definitely tone those down and will add a few more details!

Just find it hard talking about myself and being seen as too self involved! lol

This is kind of a minor point, but I'd take out the bit about sports and put something different in. Around 97% of straight men are interested in sports. Tell something about yourself that is more distinctive and unique, something that will make a person want to ask you questions.

Colors -- must go. Really hard on the eyes.

This line: "Have decided until i try anything i will not pass judgement so i am very open minded and look forward to hearing from likeminded Women who have an interest in a true submissive male like myself!! "

It's totally confusing. Just say you have no experience and would like to keep an open mind with someone willing to explore with a novice.

And please.....try not to use the "true submissive" line! True is a subjective word. What's true to me might not be your ideal of what true is. I find if someone has to tell me that they're a real or true or genuine something, it means that they're lacking in the ability to show it to me.

I would A) change the colors, as everyone has already said *grin*

B) Less exclamation points. You are enthusiastic, which is great, but show that through your words rather than excess punctuation.

C) Put in what makes you unique and different from other slaves. Why do you feel you would make a good submissive to the Domina of your dreams? Any unique skills or talents? Even just being open minded and willing to explore (as you are) is a good start!

D) Instead of a generalized list of interests, pick a few specific things that mean a lot to you- ie: "My favorite way to spend weekends is watching black and white films, attending live concerts, playing baseball, and crawling on my hands and knees to serve my Goddess."

E)I would take out the word "true" from in front of submissive. That tends to scare people off. What would be good is to describe WHY you feel submissive. Is it something you've always felt, or did it start later in life? Did you have any early experiences that led you to believe you were submissive?

F) Finally, tell us what you are seeking from placing this ad. Make it about the person you are trying to attract. "I am seeking a long term relationship with a strict Domme who will spank me mercilessly for Her pleasure." or "I am looking for a part time play partner to humiliate and objectify me."

I know its hard to write about yourself, but really, think about it this way. By having a clear, concise, well written profile, you are making it easier for a Dominant to find you, if you are what she is looking for. And its all about making things easier for her, now isnt it?

I agree and that's a great idea. To the OP, I'm glad you got the assistance you were looking for and while some of these posters requesting profile assistance may be genuine, I think many of these types of posts (generally) are meant to be bait. At least with a specific forum, everyone would know where to go to troll (not to leave out the 'Introduce Yourself' forum of course). .

Hell, I'd go there and troll.
