Checkers -> RE: The Extractor & Emasulator & the Wortenburg Wheel... (5/11/2004 6:03:09 PM)

sub2b - that sounds incredible!
And, now there are two things that I have to look up as a result of following this thread;
An emasulator and the Wortenburg Wheel.
Another device that I tried to make one day was a sort of hoop with holes drilled in the frame - wires with clips attached go through the holes, and the function of the device (...if it has a name, I'm not aware of what that would be) ...is to hold the labia open to the degree desired by adjusting the length of the wires.
I made the hoop out of an old tennis racket, destrung, which looked odd but worked well! I have to figure out a new method of adjusting the thing, and perhaps find some better clips to use at an office supply.
I was using my light-clamping dollar store clothespins, and they weren't quite adequate to the task.
So, back to the drawing board on that one.
It was fun tinkering around in the garage working on it, though-
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them!

I have also had a lot of fun, physical and mental, with mouse and rat traps (never used for original purpose) - Strap the trap to the inner thigh (using rope or a leather thong or strap or duct tape) and then use the trap part to hold the labia majora - opens the vagina right up when you then put a 3 foot spreader bar between her ankles - although I had to 'upgrade', if you will, to using rat traps on the labia majora because the mouse traps just could not handle the job of keeping them open - they would always slide off, giving the sub a pinch when they snapped off the end - which was kinda nice effect, but since that was not what I had wanted nor intended, decided to go with rat traps - I have yet to have one slide off in that manner. For the mental side, just pulling back on the trap and then letting it SNAP closed makes a wonderfully evil sound [:D] and is effective both when she is blindfolded and when she is not - of course you NEVER want to let them snap closed like that on whatever your intened area is on your sub as that would cause damage to the tissue underlying the skin.

Checkers -> A cautionary note about the Extractor... (5/12/2004 9:51:31 AM)

I went to the convenient Wal-mart last night and purchased an Extractor snake bite kit - it's a fascinating little thing!
The suction can be quite strong, and not easy to control - the force is applied instantly, all at once. You can lessen the force somewhat by not pulling the little plunger out very far before depressing it, but it still can be quite surprising...

So experiment a lot on sturdier parts before pointing it toward delicate bits.
I know that this is probably like preaching to the choir in a forum like this, but I figure that sometimes cautionary notes bear repeating...

You can also do a search for cupping sets on the net. They are not considered lifestyle related. They are or were actually used in ancient chinese medicine for blood letting.
I love our set. I could sit and play with it for hours.

Also...Checkers. I have a friend who made that device. She calls it a dreamcatcher. Because it so closely resembles the native indian ones. Hers has clamps instead of mere strings. It works wonderfully. I'll ask her to send me the pic and permission. I'll post it when she does.

Checkers -> RE: A cautionary note about the Extractor... (5/13/2004 8:55:59 PM)

Hi Gloria -
I have heard of cupping sets, but don't know a great deal about them.
I will do a little net searching in a bit.
-Do they apply very much suction? Do they come in various sizes?
****
- 'Dreamcatcher' is a very lovely name for that device!
On the one that I made I used clothespins as clamps. I think they worked ok - What I haven't come up with yet is a satisfactory method of adjusting the lengths of string (or wire) which attach the clothespins to the frame.
- I would be curious to see your friend's design.

Just a general reply and some thoughts:

Foods, especially those high in sugars, really ought to be excluded from any vaginal play. Basic science here folks ... sugar + yeast = tons more yeast. I.E. yeast infections. As one that has yet at 34 to ever have to deal with that female issue - I am assured by every single female I have yet ever to meet that yeast infections really bite and are usually fairly painful or uncomfortable. So yanno, realize that if you are sticking food with ANY sugars in it - basically most stuff - into a female vagina - you are indeed pretty much helping them have an unpleasant experience that for some women might take months to clear up. And PLEASE - if you are going to go ahead and do it anyway make sure that you at LEAST wash the pesticides and crap off the food BEFORE it enters the body.

On that note, please do not use the mascara brushes for the eyes again, or *any* eye makeup that has been touching other parts of the body. Besides styes, which can be very painful, you can permanently and severely injure the eye. Once used for *play* it ought to remain offlimits for usage on the eye.

Remember, oils - such as peppermint, cinnamon, etc. - are incredibly potent. Try a portion of a drop in your tongue/nostril/lips (depending on the food grading of the product you are testing, and PLEASE do as little as possible when you test - this stuff can literally feel like it's singing your skin off!) as a test. Also, use a SMALL amount - more can *always* be applied, and when it comes to oils, it is NOT so easy to remove. Water will not dampen the effect (in fact it can *spread* it, basic science again, water and oil do not mix, hot water is worse than cold water is) but a piece of bread *can* absorb a decent amount to help lessen it. And yeah, you CAN burn the skin with essential oils - so know what kinds of oils you are using - it DOES make quite a difference. Don't forget to do an allergy test somewhere *else* besides on mucous membranes or genital regions. What one person's skin can stand another really cannot. Same goes for chilis, chili resins (those can be a REALLY bad idea), tabasco, anything acidic or spicy. What your tongue and mouth and stomach can handle does not necessarily automatically equate into what your genital and anal regions can handle.

Remember as well, ginger can be incredibly painful (in a not good way) to some folks.

Bengay, icy hot, etc., I will not use, as it says quite clearly it is not to be taken internally. They put such warnings on things for a reason - usually it's to legally protect them, and yeah, anal and vaginal and urethral is usually considered internal. Sure you might not notice there's a problem right away, but perhaps studies have shown that it leads to cervical cancer or some shit - again there's a reason they have a warning *in print*, to my way of thinking. Basically, I suppose I view it like breath and carotid play - you can do it for years and never have a problem, but that doesn't mean it is safe, or that one day someone isn't going to have a bad day with it.

I just don't do things just because everyone else does it and says it's okay - I guess I have this rebellious spirit that refuses to be one of the sheep in the herd, lol, so I make my own decisions based on what unbiased facts that I can before I consider doing them. I'm a weirdo - what can I say? LOL!

Being creative is always good, but safety first - after all you want the experience to be a *good* one in some ways, I'd hope, lol.

I do agree with you ShadeDiva, anything with sugar substance is not healthy. Mascara shouldn't be aplied to eyes after touching the genital regin, It can cause pink eye. Oil's have to be used sparingly and with caution. Ginger, I have a different opinon, because it is a natural root with nothing added and have used it on myself. I'm sure though everyone has different reactions.

My question for you would be *where* did you use it? Vaginal, anal, and urethral all have different ways of sending that sensation to the ol brain.

Most women don't often insert a shoot of ginger into their urethral shafts yet happily designate that action to a male, without the slightest concept of how it feels there.

The vagina is also much different than the rectum, as I can attest to, as well as other women that I've done it to or know that have done it.

If you've appiled it to yourself in all three places, or had it applied, was it truly the same exact sensation in each place for you? If so, I'd say that was very rare in my experience. To date I have yet to see or know of anyone that reports it feels the same in each orifice - you'd be my first.

~ShadeDiva - who is now pretty curious hehehe

GoddessMarissa -> RE: A cautionary note about the Extractor... (5/14/2004 1:03:58 PM)

Yes, it has a different sensation in different areas. Its has more of a sensation on the clitoris. I was trying to make a point that ginger would be much better than using icyhot orwhatever other people use of that sort. The reason I say it would be much better is because it's all natural with nothing added.

I am not a health care professional but a friend of mine who is a Domme and a NURSE told me NOT to insert ice into the rectum as it could cause a heart attack. I have no idea if this is true but she swears it is. MsDawn

ShadeDiva -> RE: household objects (5/23/2004 8:42:59 PM)

OKay this is what I found so far:

http://www.pathlights.com/nr_encyclopedia/05gast10.htm

Look at Hemorrhoids 2:
INFLAMED HEMORRHOIDS—Rest in bed with feet and hips elevated; knee-chest position, if necessary; Ice Cold Compress, pressed firmly against anus; ice suppositories (ice placed in rectum); very shallow Ice cold Sitz Bath.

http://www.chclibrary.org/micromed/00062260.html

Prostatitis
Look at Treatment:
Ice. When heat does not help, ice packs, or simply placing a small ice cube in the rectum, may relieve pain for hours

This is interesting:

http://www.eye.net/eye/issue/issue_04.08.04/plus/lovebites.html

Sometimes while my partner and I are getting riled up during a scene, she might slide an ice cube or two up my butt (smooth, rounded edges, of course) and make me wait until they melt, watching me squirm. It's great and the sensation is incredible, if you can handle it (but that's part of the fun). I wanted to know if this was safe. COLD BITCH

Aren't you clever girls. You have discovered an object that is actually safe to go in the ass without an anchor. You probably find your sphincter contracts and cramps from the cold a bit, but that's pretty much the extent of the harm with this type of play. I did find one article that warned of the dangers of ice-cube enemas -- apparently some numbskull-raver solution (and possibly an urban myth) for reviving someone who's fallen unconscious after taking too much GHB. GHB lowers blood pressure and consequently, according to medical professionals, ice in the rectum can trigger the vagus nerve (vagus from the Latin word for wandering, as the nerve wanders from the brainstem to the splenic flexure of the colon), which further slows blood flow to the heart. To avoid frostbite, you should also never ice something directly for longer than 10 minutes.

Now, with safety in mind, why stop at ice cubes? I stuck a condom and a latex glove full of water in my freezer overnight to conduct some more thorough experiments, and the next day found myself holding a large frozen dick in a dishcloth, face to face with a compliant subject reclining on the Luv Linens. The cold cock was just a little too big and icy for assplay, but a good time was had by all when it was inserted vaginally for 20 to 30 seconds at a time. Make sure the -- haha! -- chilldo is fully frozen, as it can get pretty jagged from your body heat if it's still liquid inside. As for the icy hand: it leaked, and is now gruesomely stuck to the bottom of my freezer. Next time I'll put it in there on a plate.

And so is this:

http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,7361585%5E1702,00.html

Maybe that is what she was referring to and left out the parts about lots and lots of ice or a drug overdose?

Let's see some more links:

http://www.enema-web.com/crushed_ice_enemas.htm

http://medind.nic.in/imvw/imvw3143.html

Well I didn't see any really dire warnings about that practice anywhere, and never heard any of the medically trained folks in my community stating that, and haven't yet heard of ice in the rectum starting a heart attack in my experience, so I guess for now I will operate on the premise that it is entirely safe to do so.

Perhaps she would provide research or articles that would back that up?

I'd be VERY interested - especially since I do use ice dildos, ice cubes, etc in the rectum on my "victims".

Thanks!

Estring -> RE: household objects (5/23/2004 9:10:09 PM)

Long John popsicles in a condom are great for vaginal or anal insertion. A little sticky after a few minutes.
And I think that it is a block of ice inserted into the rectum that causes heart attacks. [:D]
