Is spitting a form of WS? And how is this generally viewed by the BDSM society?

I never thought of it that way.  It's a hard limit of mine, though, one of my very few.

It's my opinion that spitting is not watersports; which is all about urine.

Spitting is a 'fetish' all of its own; perhaps under humiliation.  Some love it...

(I wouldn't be one of 'em, though)

What Bearlee said ... like watersports it is often used as a tool for humiliation ... have done it, it's okay

Yes, a very arcane subsection of humiliation/degredation called 'phlegmsports'.

But not like watersports.

Pardon me, ladies...

Nope.  Spitting gets it's own checklist box.  Watersports is simply a more elegant way to refer to otherwise unpleasent terms.  It even gets sub-genres:  face spitting, genital spitting, ear spitting, toe spitting, spit swapping, spit swallowing, spitting back, elbow spitting,.... well, you get the idea.

Watersports is unpleasent?  Who says?  ...and why?  Lots of us rather enjoy such play, yanno!  Course, I think over half the folks who consider watersports have no concept what it 'could' be like.  <shrugs>  Everything is relative...everything has degrees.

Hey, hey, hey now - I just said the terms were unpleasent.  The sound of 'urination' 'pissing' and 'dribbling the golden goblet' are just plain creepy to me.  As you can probably guess, I don't engage in WS activities, but if that's to your taste, by all means let the cup runneth over.

I had a girlfriend along time ago that introduced me to watersports (this was a sex thing, not a Lifestyle thing) - she LOVED giving it, it really turned her on, and it was an absolute joy to watch her "get off" doing it.

It made me raise my eyes at first, but I liked pleasing her so what the heck.  (I was young and I wanted to get laid and I enjoyed pleasing my partner)

I found out that a) a shower takes care of the external mess and b) the taste eventually dissipates, but most important is c) how the act made her feel between her ears was far and beyond just the physical act.

Everything is an acquired "taste".  Chinese Food, rimming, push-ups, CBT, mathematics, etc.  Everyone gets something out of it either good or bad and sometimes your initial feelings towards something changes - time changes everything.

Yup, I feel much like your friend and discovered this over 30 years ago...this lifestyle only 3 years ago.  Funny, huh?

Btw, I find the shower/tub kinda cold; have you ever tried getting one of those plastic-backed picnic table-cloths to spread over your bed?  Place it plastic side down and add a couple towels; when finished playing, toss the whole bunch into a hot wash.  Piece o'cake!

That suggestion is something to file away ;-)

Watersports is one of the few areas where it's better to receive than give - at least for me :-)

Personally, I like a little give and take; but like I said, I've enjoyed that sort of play long before I discovered D/s, too.  Not many Doms seem willing to be peed on!  LOL  I guess I just don't see that it HAS to be any part of humiliation...if ya don't want it to be; it CAN be just plain ol' sensual.

Edited to add:  but about the giving part...I had a bf who absolutely LOVED drinking directly from the font (so to speak) and I'm hear to tell ya, hard as it is to get started...it's one of the best feelings in the world.

That is exactly how my old girlfriend felt when I drank from the font - she was INCREDIBLY turned on - it was good for me too, I really enjoyed looking into her eyes and seeing the wheels just turning knowing she was having a moment.

If everything I did invoked (including everyday things) that kind of pleasure in others, this would be a better world.

I don't either...but I guess there ARE those who enjoy it.  I wonder if it's always humiliation or if they find it erotic, too?  hmmmmmmmm...
