raiken summed it up wonderfully. Took the words right outta my fingers. My husband and I are both Doms/Tops, but we're also both masochists from time to time. We've done some really rough take-down/wrestling scenes in a public venue before, and we were having such a good time with each other, we weren't thinking about whether or not the other Doms thought we were exhibiting Un-Domly behavior....whatever that is. If she's only Topping you, you're not submitting to her, because you are bottoming for her. In reality, you're running the show for her educational benefit. Domination and Topping are two VERY different things. I think once you reconcile that with yourself, you might start to feel more secure in your actions, and worry less about what everyone else thinks about what you're doing with your partner. Think about it this way....At least you're confident enough in yourself as a Dominant to allow your submissive to practice her techniques on you. Those Doms that you feel are looking down their noses at you really aren't. You know why? Because they've probably got their noses stuck so far up in the air, if it rained, they'd drown. As long as you two are having a good time, fuck what everone else thinks. As always, YMMV... MrsShadows
