You know these threads make Me go ballistic, its the:

" I don't mind or I like bigger/older as the young, petitie, CUTE.."

I hate the fact that cute is only used at that end of the spectrum, I hate that its like..its ok girls, I will overlook THAT flaw because I am a bigger person and can accept or forgive imperfections-- sure its preferences, big fuckin whoop, its an eliminator pure and simple and it seems to be more so when it comes to women. You aren't cute if you are bigger or older?? Or what the hell does bigger and older have to do with poise, femininity, brains, education, communication skills?

" i want a good looking, i want a hwp,I want a petite" great, knock your socks and your rocks off.

Sure there are many of us who have great self esteem, but I guarandamntee you we do not miss the looks, the stares, the backhanded comments. Am I angry, you are flippin A right, I am on the backside of what once was " young petite and cute", I modeled, I had men at My feet, I finally grew in to My frame and guess what--the offers dwindled--dwindled to almost nothing. Yeah, its preferences, great freedom of choice, but it sucks when you are left on the sidelines. Don't placate Me, if you don't have the balls to look at the person, don't do Me any favors.

If I hate anything it is the word "cute" it's horrible, it diminishes women, it reeks of a doll, a toy, something that is ornamental but without power.

As for not being a spring chicken anymore, I can't say I'm unhappy about it, the only thing that does annoy me is the fact that it simply requires much more effort and discipline to keep my body in shape. Sure when I was a teen or in my twenties I could walk into any bar and knew I could just have my pick of guys, but I wasn't happier, I was tortured by thinking I wasn't pretty enough, not thin enough, not the right shape, you name it, the older I got the less important it was to fulfill somebody elses ideal, or what the media tells us is the right look.
I don't really miss the ability to pull any guy out there, because I simply don't fancy 99% of the guys out there, in that respect I don't really think I'm left on the sidelines because my expectations also have grown and I rather go for interesting than shallow handsome and I have trouble finding a guy interesting who's only interested in women as an arm piece he can show off. I actually find it rather liberating, not having to sort through the whole menue and wondering if they're really interested in me as a person (which of course they all claimed, and surprise surprise, some guys are liars) or if they're just going by looks and are guided by their small head.

The only regret I have is that I didn't cherish my looks as a teenager, that I didn't believe in myself and never knew how good I actually looked. They say that youth is wasted on the young and in a way I do agree. Looking back now, some of the things make me laugh, trying to starve myself to death and trying to achieve the fashionable Kate Moss waif look by bandaging my boobs to make them "disappear" because it was so unfashionable to be curvy, taking pains to avoid the sun because the heroin chic required pale, pasty skin, denying myself my fave sports because I was afraid to appear too healthy and muscular... Blah, do I miss that? Not for all the tea in China! It's so damned liberating to do what you want, look how you want and to not give a toss!

Ah yes the aging process...we all go through it, some of us get to longer through it than others. I hope I get to do it for a long damn time. No I don't have the stamina I did when I was young, probably don't scream as loud as I used to, takes me longer to get on my knees, but I still get there.
However, I would not change a thing. I know that the "younger" set are not interested in "old" worn out men, but that is ok by me. That does not mean that we are not wanted, it just means that the "younger" set does not know what they are missing!!!

you know what...unless one is an actress making millions on a crap set of skills and in turn has the money and time to workout seven days a week and eat fucking sprouts and rabbit food,chances are you are going to turn into something more as Lockit put it,rounder!!i find absolutely nothing wrong with a woman becoming rounder and being in a natural state of beauty and have never required or looked for the Domina with the hourglass figure wearing fuckingleather and come fuck me shoes every hour of the day.it's a funny thing but i never heard anyone say they can carry on a conversation about anyone's body everyday of their lives but i have certainly heard of people that want to talk..intelligently about subjects ranging from architecture to current events to music to writing to reading because quite frankly,if you can't carry a conversation about the things that inspire us on a day to day basis then what is the sense??A body may be trim,it may be chunky and it may be round.Personally i don't give a flying fuck what it is...can you talk to me??Can you make me laugh??can you get by the fact that some of us are not as intelligent as the rest but we can hold our own and try our best to make it work..can you allow yourself to let go enough to allow another into your heart??Someone who really cares??I used to think most of you were like that(just wanted happiness and a life to share)but the more i keep reading bullshit drivel the more i am inclined to think otherwise which is a damn shame because i do not want to paint everyone with such a broad stroke.

Really LadyC? It's not that I'm immune to what we face as women, but wow - maybe being gay I've never been concerned about some of what you've written. Funny I have my squish I'm female of course and I'm trying to build lean muscle (and eating quality protein works!). I'm actually quite pleased that now as I'm older and smarter (the protein in my diet) I have some definition in my arms and legs. But you were actually concerned to appear too healthy (and muscular)? Wow. I mean unless you're talking body builder (which you're not) that's fascinating. Never would dawn on me about my looks.

Now that I'm older and yup a few lines on my face AND living in LA, I'm wondering if it's vanity at my age. Somewhat surprising. But then a young woman pops in, telling me I'm beautiful and there I go - hands far to the sides of your head expanding outward - 'scratch your head.'

But really? I guess I'm truly simple...if you love women and gosh I do, what's a body without all the other great stuff? Her sexy personality, her energy, her sense of adventure, well of course her dominance...and all the rest.

I think some of us have 'types' (I wish I didn't but I do - OK I'm not revealing much but just look at the woman this response is to - smile) but that doesn't mean we don't find plenty of women attractive in a variety of ways.
