What's my point?!?!?!  Both parties are screwing us and it doesn't matter who wins in November, we all lose and any political rhetoric about, "but my Party is going to fix this and fix that" is hooey (sorry for the strong language) - Your Party is going to be dipping their hand in your pocket for crap we don't need so They can get re-elected in 2 years.

Unfortunately, that's about the size of it.

hooey is the tame version of BS (I was being tongue in cheek - ironically, not literally LOL)

It's like saying pee pee instead of penis or dick.

BS = Bull Shit

Though when referring to politicians, I prefer to use "pigcrap," since I consider most politicians to be pigs at the trough.

I am not allowed to tell you what I think of you but the fact that these two quotes were next to each other proves what I think about your mental abilities and the increadibly moronic concept some say about "both parties being equal"

quote:

quote:

As for Bush, had Congress had any balls at all; they would have challenged more instead of worrying if voting against a popular President (we're talking 4 years ago) would doom their political career. ...

But but buy you said they were equal then then you said one should have stopped the other but if they are the same what does it matter oh I am so confused.

Us Democrats and liberals are lucky,  OUR idiots that used to spout that moronic crap got their asses handed to them by Bush, when one liberal tries that line on another somebody slaps them till they wake up.

I guess libertarians and such still think it though...

If you paid any attention at all, I said "Congress" in the 2nd snippet, not Democrats.  Congress includes both parties which, therefore, does match up with the 1st snippet.

It's not my fault you can't read or simple concepts escape you.

Uhm, by your definition, it doesn't matter which parties are in control but if you believe the Democrats supported Bush's then I can understand your position, but for some of us sort of noticed they don't tend to do that.

Heck, even many Republicans are starting to notice that Bushco is made up of incompetent nutjobs.  Wait till after the election and you will see how much the same both parties are!

"Go over to a foreign country and see there eyes bulge out not in being scared but in an exciteable way when you tell them you can walk into a store and come out with a gun and bullets."

.......actually, most people i know just sigh and look sad..........

" North Korean forces invade US.  A secret force of North Korean army invaded the US coast and tried to take over and establish a beachhead in the US near the city of Los Angles.  While the miltary bases were secretly bombed and the Korean's planned to use the chaos to establish a beachhead in the US, their forces were held back by civilians armed to defend their country.  Gangs who normal fought over turf united with other people to hold off the invading force until US military forces arrived to help push back the invasion."

....and this is simple paranoia......in a world of spy-in-the-sky and nuclear submarines just how is a big enough North Korean military force going to get to the USA undetected?

However, if Americans want to hold arms in their houses that's up to them. The only time i get pissed off is when some rabid gun-nut thinks that the decision not to go down that line is wrong. That position is equally as wrong as some furriner telling the Americans to disarm.......vive la difference, i say.

Funny thing about this whole debate is you can still buy silencers over the counter in france and up until recently little single shot .22 pistols with silencers.

They don't like disturbing their neighbors when they shoot pests.

Twelve pages ... just to discover yet again that some things about one country will rarely make sense to those from another.

All makes perfect sense to me Caitlyn.

If I thought the US could take it, and my ex wouldnt kick up a stink over the kids (who'd come too!), I'd move over there tomorrow!

Funny thing...I had a bear in my yard at three this morning.
Glad I own guns...just in case.
You see, this time of year they tend to get really hungry and a little grumpy.
The coyotes that roam my area too.
Beats hitting pots and pans together.

Isn't it Alaska that everyone that lives out of town or on the fringe of town carries a .357 for bear protection?  I have never been there so not sure?

[scoff at paranoid people]

Hello philosophy,

I will tell you how it is done.  This actually happened about 8 years ago.  A container from China was offloaded in the harbor.  It did not have it's seal on the door, so it was taken in the yard to the Must Open Doors people to open the doors, look inside, and inventory it.

They opened the container.

30 or so Chinese illegal immigrants poured out of the container running to try to escape into the Real World (as opposed to the harbor)

They were immediately surrounded (but not detained in any way) by union longshoreman laughing at the 3 (union) security guards vainly attempting to control the crowd of chinese.  Once the can of worms (or Chinese) is opened, the only way to recan it is to use a bigger can.

They want tighter security in the port.  Hire more people.

Multiply that by one ship carrying 7000 containers sailing from North Korea into Long Beach, and you have 210,000 heavily armed SKS-47 wielding Korean soldiers pouring into the streets of Wilmington and Long Beach.

[/scoff]

Just me, could be wrong, but there you go.

Sinergy
