Can't believe bama let that game get away from them. Great defensive game nonetheless.

This steelers ravens game is shaping up to be a 10 point game...

Can't go to sleep without stopping in and crowing about what was almost a perfect NFL Sunday.Jets win,Giants pull out a game against New England ...a game where they seemed to beat NE at every phase of the game..yet needed a clutch drive from their elite(yes Eli was indeed correct when he stated earlier this summer that he is amongst the elite qb's) QB to secure the win.
than the Ravens drive 92 yards to beat ,and sweep the year from, the hated Steelers.....only thing missing was Rivers throwing to the wrong team earlier ....guess we will ahve to slap the first loss on GB.

Interesting stat. The Green Bay Packers have beaten the Bears 3 times this year. Jan, 2nd. 10-3,,,Jan.23rd. 21-14 and Sept.25th. 27-17. When we beat them on Dec.25th. it will be the 4th time in one year..Not sure if thats been done before ?

You are of course counting a chicken that is yet to be,and may never be, hatched. That aside,I am looking towards the Dec 04 game (Giants host the Packers) as a possible playoff preview...of course if things go the way I would like them to go,this game will have ramifications vis a vis home field advantages come the playoffs.

Unfortunately, I have a sob here... I love my packers, we're 8-0, but for the love of god people... our defense! We NEEEEED to figure this shit out. Sure, Rodgers can put up points all damn day, but one of these times, that's not going to be enough. It's painful to watch, when we have players on the D like we do, and they're still pretty damn near last place in all Defensive stats. This is upsetting to me.

I'm also a little worried about giving up to many points, but real worried. We have won 14 games in a row. I think they will get it straigtened out.

Yes, let's please pass the hat for the poor Packers.

Jets look back on track.

CIN will get tested, will it hold the AFC Conference lead? Kudos to Marvin Lewis and his staff.

Will Chris Johnson put together any kind of season?

Curious what kind of contracts Ray Rice and Matt Forte sign (same draft class) in 2012.

How long will Eli Manning keep it up?

Will Philip Rivers get it together?

Are the Colts a lock for 0-16?

No need to pass the hat for the 13 time world champion Green Bay Packers.

Last year Rodgers was hurt and Matt Flynn almost beat the Patriots. Why can't the Colts win one game without the student of the game ?

Well, Rivers seems to be doing okay tonight, and the Chargers got REALLY lucky with that non call, which was, after explanation, the right non call for no pass interference on the fake punt.

I want to see what happens between CIN and PITT. Also NYG v. SF, Jets v. Patriots, and NO v. ATL.

The game of the day is Giants-Niners,as far as intriguing match ups go...also by what it will reveal about the true strength of both teams. Are they real or not....does there exist any team in the NFC that can push/ challenge Green Bay or not.
Of course tonight's NE- Jets tilt has that bitterness factor that these two teams have engaged in for years...so that is damm intriguing all by itself.
No coincidence at all that both those teams have a decided New York flavor, none at all

I'm absolutely stunned that the Broncos are even in the hunt.  If they win today, then Tebow will have rejuiced the team.  I expected them to finish 3-13, so they'll push past that already if they win today.

What stuns me is the NFL scheduling here we have the Jets playing NE tonight, rather than at 1....than they must play Denver at Mile High...dealing with fatigue, chasing Tebow and the rarified air at mile high.
Why,save for the wants of the networks would a team that has to play the short week Thursday game be scheduled for the Sun.night game ?

Cam seems to be having issues. The man was suggesting possibly career ending. All indications from the MRI is that his shoulder is good.. so why is it so tight?
