Smoking is a real turn off for me. When I was 15, my mother was admitted into hospital - she was a smoker, and one day caught a chest infection, and started coughing up blood. Something went wrong in her lungs, I still don't understand what, but I know for a fact that the cigarettes hadn't helped.

Maybe it was a good life experience for me, maybe it made me a stronger person. But no 15 year old should ever have to watch her mother drowning in her own blood. So I'm very anti-smoking. It kills people. It wrecks lives, and it wrecks families.

My mum was lucky, the ambulance got there in time. My family was lucky. But seriously, smokers, you all need to remember, IF things go wrong, cancer, or infections, or what, it's never just your life that you've screwed up. And I think 1 in 4 children are thought to die from passive smoking. Thats something to think about too.

Sorry - not meaning to preach, if it comes that way. Just my very passionate opinion.

Respectfully,
Minx

i dont smoke, except the occasional shock cigar during late night poker with my brothers, just to see them get in a tizzy .. i usually then cough my head off and turn a little green...

i live with a Domina who smokes, She goes outside because of the Kids and Her charges, but it doesn't "bother" me that She smokes as far as smell or anything. i love Her and wish She didnt for Her health, but if She quit She'd be hell on wheels :: snickers :: Kidding... its an addiction like anything else, i have my own...
