Dear Ladies and Gentlemen;
This is not directed at anyone and or the topic as originally posted. That said, I do have some observations and comments.
Attacking the topic subject at hand is more productive, then attacking people and or individuals, and their comments, beliefs and philosophy. If all individuals were agreeable and so much the same, we would be no different than cookie-cuttered copies.
Each person, is a product of their own life's journey. It is often forgotten, that no matter the source, books, videos, lectures, demonstrations, presentations and or handouts; are just one person's perspective on things and or their own personal philosophy. Our (in a general sense), have the duty to ourselves to pick and choose what may/can/will/would/should work in our own personal lives. The choice can be agreed with or disagreed with; however imposing a negative response and make it a personality conflict is not productive.
In each of our (in a general sense) package ourselves as a representative of what is or what is not, good and or bad in our lives and or in the context of a M/s, D/s, BDSM, S&M lifestyle. We (in a general sense) just want to have keys to our personal success and happiness. No one is able to please everybody and approval of individual is fluid and uninhibited, as our minds and how we process the packaged logic, is by unwrapping the package and looking at it's contents.
Nobody can also change a consistantly negative person. They have to change themselves. Regardless of intent, well wishes or concerns, it is not going to work unless that person is willing to change. It is a matter of control and manipulation. It is no different from someone who has to say the last word no matter how silly that last word becomes. Negative sorts, are indeed killjoys. That known, not to feed the killjoy, will preserve better energy to more positive exchanges.
The topic is the only area that is worthy of comment or lack thereof.
However, to uncover how people come to their conclusions can be most beneficial, as we are given the opportunity to see from another's mind's eye. Sadly, when it becomes to toxic and or negative, it robs others of an opportunity to look through another's mind's eye. Thus, no different than becoming controlled by a surpressed press--our freedoms and liberties are under attack. That is the sad part of what often takes place. By feeding those robbing individuals from their personal liberties to be curious and or participate in a positive way, it is no different then handing the weapon to enforce the power of the robbery/theft.
Just some thoughts.
