I respectfully suggest you're being rather harsh in your assessment. I think it's being prudent to not take a drug that has the potential for long term side effects. These predictors are only a guidline they are not an absalute.) The truth is our bodies are a sertain way for a reason and messing with what is nateral often has effects on us that are less then desirable. Just because you have been lucky does not mean this is not true.

Thank you DaviantlyD for pointing this out, you are right. She is lucky to not have these side effects I for one am not willing to take a chance it isnt worth it to me!!

My point exactly... 'terrified' or 'revolted'... it's a matter of semantics. I think the fact that menstrual blood is viewed with disgust by so many is an indictment on the social moulding of males. Though thankfully, fewer and fewer men are raised in such a manner, as the old superstitions attached to menstruation disappear back to the arsehole of history, where they belong.

Personally, I HATE sex during that time of the month, always have, I just think it's gross.

Since my Dom and I have a relationship built more on the vanilla aspects of it, we have no problem finding other things to do - going to the movies or out to dinner or for a walk - when Aunt Flo calls. Not that it's not on both our minds; when my Aunt left early this month, we canceled our planned sojourn to the theater and instead went to our Hideaway!

Today I'm going to Planned Parenthood and/or my ob/gyn's to see about that pill that stops periods; I had my tubes tied 13.5 years ago so I'm not concerned with building up bedding for a potential little one. Personally, I can't relate to all these women who have such a problem with sex when on their periods. I know for myself I turn into an absolute bitch in heat. I can't get enough and the natural lubrication just eases the ride(s). Are there times when the cramps are bad and I feel like hell? Of course, it's part of who we are. ladies-- there is an alternative to tampons and pads during your period. it is called "Instead". it is a plastic ring that is insereted by you. there is a small cup like piece of thin plastic, that catches your menstrual blood. it can be worn for up to 12 hours and yes you can have sex while wearing it. it might remind you a bit of a diaphram. if your partner is larger he can sometimes feel it,but if your partner has an issue with blood, it is a good alternative. it can be bought at Walgreens for about $7.00 for 14 rings. hope this helps someone. dar1002's slave

I am really surprised that none of the ladies here mentioned what I have done for years.
