They are all Nabisco crackers.

[And if you count only one type of Ritz, they're all wheat crackers.]

Actually I was thinking that they were all Kraft products, specifically crackers.  http://www.pirg.org/ge/reports/kraftproducts.pdf

But, yes MM is correct, they are all Nabisco crackers.  (Kraft merged with Nabisco in 2000)

All are slightly differing accounts that have a common 'Garden of Eden' sorta morality tale.

So for example:
Gilgamesh = Adam
(in gilgamesh I believe there was no Eve, he just got directly fucked from the snake.)

BTW Gillie pre-dates Gennie by at least a thousand years.

Ron,

You are wrong---but you are SO on the right track.

Gilgamesh is 2/3 god, so not equivalent to Adam. Nor does he live in an Eden-like world.

They do, however, all tell a tale in common. Further, I believe they are the ONLY sources that do.

Obviously, as early epics they will have a lot in common with many other works of that sort, but this should narrow it down.

Tim

Sorry Ron...you're all wet (I couldn't resist)...

dc has it--specifically, the Babylonian flood. They even built a big boat.

Further, each of them maintains that from that event, they are the progenitors of mankind (and all creation), completely for some, largely for others. Go figure.

You're up, dc!

Founders of Hogwarts.

Its houses are named for them (these are their first names).

I have to get to work, though, so new quartet will be later on this evening.
