A couple of things: On the Four Horses (Mine): Marc2b got it first, and cleverest. I like the idea of a Seussian Apocalypse. The Four Horsemen are never named in the New Testament. They have been subsequently described as War, Famine, Pestilience and Death, but in Revelations, they are the riders of the 4 colored horses (or non-colored if you look at "pale", which also gets translated as "green"). On Gin (Mine, too): Heather, you never cease to amaze me! I'd have thought that one would have lasted a LONG time. And btw, Bombay Sapphire is a nearly perfect "London" gin. I prefer Tanqueray, which is none of the 4 styles...bonus points if you know what style it is *GRIN* On darkChylde's Vampy question. Not a clue. Even after Holly got it, I refuse to think of Cheech Marin as a vamp. On Holly's numbers. Did Bita get it right? WOW. quote:
onlythewindknows: oxymoron hyperbole paradox irony They are all literary terms, describing forms of rhetoric. Notably used in classical analysis of poetics, but also in other forms of literary criticism. Another number sequence, and holly can't play! 10, 16, 20, .410 E.

"When you wake up, Pooh," said Piglet, "what's the first thing you say?" "What's for breakfast? What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
