Always wash and dry very well.  Then try Degree sheer powder deodorant.  I know it sounds weird, but from a very fat girl who has gone through the rash and yeast thing, it works.  I also find the W**mart brand of baby powder with cornstarch helps keep things dry without the lumping of regular powder.
Good luck.

I'd be wary of the antiperspirants, something about it I can't explain just doesn't feel "right" about it, IMHO.

I'm thinking very simplistically here, some paper towel in the buttcrack area maybe?  There's no dignified word for buttcrack, is there? *giggles*

I use a sheet or two of papertowel for undermy breasts whenever I go for runs or am working out due to the sweatiness and it causing a lot of friction, it works very well for me.  I even use it often in the summer months just for being outdoors and sweating, it's never been a problem while using the papertowels.

Inexpensive, no risk, and works [:D]

After the baby wipes, you might want to put a towel (or something) down on the 'wetspot' (as Ron so eloquently termed it...lol) to avoid further contact with any bacteria there.  Also an anti bacterial soap (like Dial) might help.

I used an antifungal spray for 3 days even though it burned like hell! Then I used a yeast infection cream for 3 days and i'm almost all healed[:)] i have to assume it was a fungal infection of some kind...blah

JK,

Don't tell anyone, but I used Raid one time when I had the crabs as a yoot.  Talk about your above average burns--- and the crabs ate that shit like mustard, didn't calm them down a bit.

But it got rid of all the cockroaches, huh?

If I can suggest that after seeing the doctor - I have always found
for my purposes a misture of half and half of cream ( not gel )
based antibiotic cream and hydrocortizone is stunningly effective
and incredibly soothing.

But usually for my subs I apply a hot towel ( run under very hot water
and wring out as much water as possible) applied directly after
sex follwed by a dry towel - as suggested pat dont rub. Then a very very
gentle application of the half half antibitic/hydrocortizone cream.

Thats do the trick :) But doctor first for sure to rule out anything
nasty.

i had a long term sex partner and every time after play i would itch. break out. itch more. i finally figured out that it was because he has a partial bridge and i am allergic to the 'glue' stuff! so every time he um, um, went down on me i would end up with a skin reaction. any time his saliva touched me there, boom. :(  heh, he refused to believe the cause of it all, that is why  i used 'had a lt sex partner'.

JerseyKrissi72 -> RE: Am I The Only One? (sighs) (12/9/2006 1:19:08 PM)

it is almost cleared up so i must assume it was a yeast infection becuase when i used the yeast med it went away..

My guess is that it could be from not cleaning up after sex.  Especially if you are all sorts of sweaty...add to that all those various nasty sexual scums that flow between two people during sexual encounters.

Try washing up right away and using some powder with a cornstarch base or something to absorb moisture.

Corn Starch and a womans vagina should not come in contact with each other.
I used the baby powder with corn starch on my daughter when she was a baby and it gave her a horrid yeast infection diaper rash.
I'd recommend regular powder and cleaning up after sex.

He is from Minnesota.  Have you ever seen their insect life?  The mosquitos are legendary -- about the size of a crow.  I suspect Ron's crabs were equally impressive.

Any rash is generally a sign of an infection. It is your body reacting to something that is not quite right. Wash with an antibacterial soap, use an aerosol deoderant on extremely sweaty parts, and clean up after sex. If you exercise, shower right after to get rid of any excess bacteria, and dry off really well right after. Drink plenty of water or other non-sugary fluids, as sugars are one of the things (along with moisture) that bacteria feed off of, and is released in sweat. Try to wear cotton blends, or other natural fabrics, especially your underwear. Natural fibers "breathe" better, and wick moisture away from your body.
Along with these, please see a doctor. If this is an infection that is widespread, there could be a number of things that need to be adressed, such as a good prescription and method of taking care of the infection. It could also be diabetes in a rare case. Just to be sure, get your primary physician's opinion and possibly a recommendation for a good dermatologist.

Well, actually most rashes result from a histimine reaction -- being allergic to something.  That would include eating something, walking through something, new cologne/soap/laundry detergent, or any other contact with an irritant.  Some are a result of a virus (like chickenpox or measles), some are a result of abrasion, and some can even be brought on by anxiety.  Benadryl can be very helpful in controlling itch and the rash itself.  Washing with antibacterial soap can help keep the bumps from getting infected, especially if it itches and you scratch it.

Glad to hear you're feeling better!  Maybe file this stuff away for another day?  Ya never know what might happen...

*grin*

The same thing happens to me at work on a pretty regular basic.  It's  a combination of the friction from constant circumambulation, and moisture from the sweat in between my butt-cheeks.  Baby powder tends to help me out quite a bit.  I can tell from your graphic description that your problem is the same as mine.............and it ain't an infection. (No, I'm not a doctor)  Try not to walk around too much on when your ass is sweaty, because that'll just make the problem worse.
