I behave in the same way that I would if I was anywhere and in any situation.

My family know that he's the *boss* and that I defer to him.....it's evident but it's not stated constantly, or overblown.

No-one was overly bothered how I related to my husbands, who was in *charge* etc........and neither are they bothered now. The bigger deal you make of things the bigger deal it becomes.

The only one who thinks my owner is my boyfriend is my son. He is 7 and needs the security right now. We do plan to explain to him that I'm more like an employee as he gets older and can understand more. He wants us to be a family, which makes me uncomfortable when he says it in front of my owner...but my owner is very understanding and just lets it slide.
