I found it at first surprising, then worrying, then highly amusing!

That idiot has emailed me multiple times from different accounts, since I block his nonsense every time I see it. The first time I just asked him politely to desist and he didn't. My suggestion for a form letter to these guys:

1. You're an idiot.

2. Read the fucking profile.

3. See #1.

Actually I do have some "form letters" posted in my journal that I've sent off as responses to fellows who emailed me with absolutely the wrong approach. Basically a compassionate attempt at explaining to them that we dommes are people too, and we'd like to get to know other people, and we don't deserve to be treated like THINGS. When you treat women like THINGS, they tend to block and ignore you, and you don't get good results. It never worked and only got me even uglier email in response, so I quit bothering.

It's pretty amazing that so many men who purport to be submissives demonstrate within two sentences that they have absolutely zero interest in or respect for what I want. If they actually cared about pleasing me or offering me something I wanted, they'd spend five minutes reading the fucking profile. All they care about is getting their rocks off in a kinky way. They truly don't give a shit about their (potential) domme or what she wants or even who she is as a person. I'm not sure why they imagine that this approach would possibly be attractive or even acceptable to anyone other than a pro domme to whom they are paying LOTS of money.

I have to say that it goes both ways in this regard. I've received several emails from Dominants that were one liners that went something like "I found your profile interesting."

I agree that it can go both ways. I expect we see more examples of WTF emails coming from men just because of the sheer numbers and a couple of other factors.

I got one suggesting cuckoldry also! I wonder if it was from the same person. .

Sure, a letter with more substance would convey more. But I am fine with a one-liner commenting on an interesting profile if there is enough information in the sender's profile to gauge basis of interest and compatibility. In the latter case, I see it as an invitation to a conversation. I can then respond with a note of thanks or with a conversation.

Also, I have sometimes emailed a compliment (versus an introductory email) to someone, especially when compatibility is uncertain for one reason or another, without specific expectations of a conversation or response. I have sometimes received similar compliments.

These guys will actually edit in names to match those they are contacting but then forget about all the other gibberish they have pasted on there & if you actually read the entire text you can see font changes &/or remnants of a page they copied it from (I've found hyper-links that took me back to crappy erotica sites)
