I think she looks like a Keanu Reeves wannabe, personally. *shrug*

Voting AGAINST her would be reason enough for me to get around to filing for citizenship.

Okay, having worked with two Constitutional Lawyers when the Religious Freedom Amendment was proposed to the House of Representatives back in 1992 by Rep Istook of OK, I have a lot of information on Constitutional Ammendments.

The process breaks down to this:

  1. It has to be proposed in either the House or Senate and it has to have sponsors
  2. It then has to be voted on in committee and the presented to the floor
  3. Once presented to the floor, it has to pass the floor by a 2/3 majority
  4. If it passes it goes to the other part of Congress where these stages happen again
  5. If any change is made to the text, it has to go back to the originating portion where this all happens again
  6. It keeps going back and forth until it passes BOTH houses in exactly the same form
  7. If it does so, meaning that 2/3 of both the House AND Senate pass it, it goes to the states to vote on
  8. The states now have 7 years to vote on this proposed Ammendment to the Constitution, where the PEOPLE, not the governments of the states must pass it by a majority
  9. If 2/3 of the States pass it by a majority in each state, it is now a part of the Constitution, and it cannot be vetoed by the President (as this is not something he must sign) and it cannot be overturned by the Courts (since it is BY DEFINITION Constitutional).

At any point if the votes fail, the Ammendment is dead.

Now, while the Republicans can cause 1) to occur, and possibly up to 2) 3) or 4), it's doubtful if Schwartzanegar is popular enough for it to pass the states. In fact, the last one, the RFA, failed by 4 votes in the House of Representatives, even though it had a lot of support in the HoR.

Rice is on the top of my list for president. Hopefully her running mate will be Juliani.

As for the Terminator, I do hope he gets to run as I support his ideas of Getting the Job done and giving the Boot to the UN.

I'm still unsure of what qualifies her to be Secretary of State, much less President. Was it the bang-up job she did as National Security Advisor?
I want to see some truly independent candidates in 2008.

You're absolutely right. My profiles here list my location as Boston, MA. While I'm currently residing in the Boston area, that doesn't mean I'm from here or that I'm necessarily a registered voter here. Sorry if that threw you

George likes it just fine too...

This is who I hope to vote for next election. Check out this outfit. Doesn't this look with the boots and black coat just scream Domme?

Merk, stop thinking with your "yah know what", lol...
She wouldn't be the type of Domme most subs would follow, she'd demand slave level following with no discussions/limits (why do you think she's Bush's right hand man)...
Personally, I'd much prefer Barack Obama, he'd be sub, he's superhot, very intelligent and reasonable. M

Oh Hell No...
I'd definitely vote for the other guy even if he wears white sheets as a fashion statement. M

I'm with you on everything but the "sub" part. Obama *screams* leader to me. He's the type of man that pretty much anyone could follow willingly and happily. That man is going places, I tell ya.

Have you read his book yet? He wrote it ages ago, when he first graduated from law school, but I'm very impressed with it so far. He really is a remarkable man. (And I'd be happy to "release" the book to you when I'm done if you're interested in reading it. All I ask is that you journal it's safe arrival and then pass it on to someone else when you've finished with it.)

I had occasion to be in a room with him and about 100 people just prior to the November elections. He's an absolutely extrodinary man.

I didnt vote for Scary Kerry or Dumbya.

I think ludicrous defense spending only serves to feather certain peoples and corporations pockets and does not make us any safer.

I suggest a real "defense" instead of what we have now..which is an "Offense".

BTW.....

Ive lived in several states, north, south and east in my short 33 years.

The most dangerous terrorists in the world are GOVEVERNMENTS....period.

Has Israel EVER won THEIR "terror war"?

I don't think so!!!

Actively "search, seek and destroying" other countries is goiung to bring the United States as a Constitutional Republic
down into the PIT OF HELL.

No wonder Bushie is traveling around the world right now begging for forgiveness.

Ahh the war on terror. The US has a history of declaring wars on nouns. How's that War on Drugs going anyway? Seems we've been in that one for almost 25 years. I mean "War on Terror" sounds pretty good. Just like "No child left behind" sounds really good...or "...No new taxes..." sounds really good. Seems as though there has been something lacking in the execution of these concepts.

I'm sure that if we continue to throw money at the problem it will go away. (Did we ever find those billions of dollars of unaccounted for funds?) No worry. We can just print more money.

If the War on Terror takes as much time to resolve as the War on Drugs...I'm worried about the status of the armed forces. I mean, retention is falling off pretty drastically. Soldiers that had planned to stay in for 20 years are getting out after their 2nd rotation in Iraq. Its getting harder to find new soldiers to replace them as distaste for the war spreads.

Maybe if all the people that blindly support the war enlisted! I think that would be a wonderful idea. Senators, radio talk show hosts, conservative chat room regulars...just all march down and sign a six year contract as an 11B (Infantry). Then we could support this war for many, many years to come... Or at least until we ran out of conservative talk show hosts.

I'll second that idea. Rather than preaching about how right the war is I'd rather see those people show through doing rather than through yelling. I've made up my mind and I'm doing what I feel is good and proper. Why don't they do the same?
