Chrissy,

Since we are in the same town, I will let you know how we do it here.  You shave yourself and write available in magic marker on the inside of your thigh and flash us when you come to an event, that way we know you are available.

Either that or simply say you are single, but nobody every does it that way anymore...in case  you can't tell this is sarcasm.  If you are a woman we always assume you want us, subs, slaves, dommes, whatever!

ok the same could be said about Doms/Dommes collaring subs/slaves which i have seen all too often when i look at the profiles. only to find the sub/slave has in their profile they are looking for Dom(X) or Domme(Z) to be their owner.

personally i was recently released (2weeks ago) and am looking but i don't dare say i am collared to someone just because i like them.

if i say i am collared you better believe i am collared to that person and if they don't have it in their profile then i take it up with them.

i do have a Mentor/Protector and am a little confused on something He mentioned to me though that kind of fits here on the thread seeing chrissy mentioned it.

my Mentor/Protector has asked that i still wear my r/l collar and i'm a little confused because when i go to the munches will folks not ask if i am collared?

ok that was a redundant question cause they most likely will and i know i can say no, please go to collarme.com and look for my profile under this nick and you'll see what i am seeking or just pull them aside and tell them what i am seeking........

ooooooooooooooooh the confusion

Didn't know they had any munchies here in Sacramento, but like the thigh flashing idea.  Sort of inviting a munchie in itself kind of act.

Hummm...wear my collar or take my whip...choices...choices!!
I know, just confuse the heck out of them and take both....let the confusion begin!  But lucky me I would probably end up with a master and a sub-slave!

First off, what the hell kind of mentor leaves you confused or where you feel you need to come here to figure out what the fuck he is talking about?

Secondly, can you say CONTROL FREAK if he wants you to wear a collar for him?

And people wonder why I think mentors and protectors should be shot in the back of the head and left to rot where they fall.

This self collaring really brings out the Gor in me.  I really feel like going and getting my battle armor on and go hunting.  Chrissy for your information..a "House Collar" referrs to a slave collared to a House not a person.  I would also think about the magic marker on the thigh since that were many slaves get branded.  I do think attending munches is a wonderful idea.  I attend those in my area of California.   No I am not in my tunic, armor etc.  Just show up..be yourself, listen and share.  I have met truely some wonderful people in this lifestyle at munches.

It's amazing the people that are on this sight...No I mean thay are capable of amazing things!...Creating  imaginary collars...That's rich! I was speaking with one woman and just hours prior to meeting she informed me that she weighed about 100 pounds more than stated in her profile...Now that's amazing! Being able to put on 100 pounds from the last time we spoke to just  before meeting(about 5 hours had elapsed)...seems like with that kind of a talent you could at least get a gig in a side show. Told her whatever ailment she had could be contagious... had to bow out gracefully....Might make an interesting new thread...most unusual talents of the people on this site (names protected to with held the innocent...reverse that!).

out.

Okay folks I have a question for all of you.

Do any of you differeniate between wearing a collar and being collared?

If I wear a collar while out for an evening why do all of you here assume that means I have collared myself?
If I wear a collar while out for an evening and say 'Why yes, I am collared to R' there is a big difference.

I do not speak of a chat or online collar such as cjenny{R} but wearing a collar for fashion/self enjoynment/comfort or whatever reason chosen.

So why is it always assumed so rapidly, that wearing a collar denotes SELF collaring?

Hello. =)

Seriously? I wouldn't think much of a collar on anybody, no matter what the surroundings are. It's just not something I'd pay attention to, you know?

I have no scene experience.. do doms wear collars, too, just for a fashion statement?

Dang, I'm such a "SceneVirgin" lol. what about a slave that doesn't wear one? Is it expected?

Cheers,
Stella

When I see someone with a collar on I think, 'Hm that's cute.'  or 'Hm that's not so cute.'  I dislike the term collared, maybe I desentisized myself when I went through that gothy high school phase and wore collars everyday?  I don't know for me the word owned has always held more...potency than the symbol of a collar.  Just a personal preference.

WHAT ???   * raises eyebrow*
And here I am catchin all kind of heat and BS because at this point in my life I am NOT interested in getting collared.
I'm sooo confused............

LOL HK, I kind of expected this thread to be a bit different and more on the serious side...go figure.

How about, subs collaring themselves in the sense that, while no official collar is in place, and she doesnt claim there is when there isnt, she knows beyond a doubt she belongs to Him in her heart, which carries more weight. I have always believed that a collar should be felt around the heart before the neck. Perhaps that's why ive never been collared lol.

I think the way a sub behaves, denotes the difference between belonging to someone or not...collar or no collar. Beyond that, if approached by a Dom or in conversation with such, politely informing them if you are involved should be sufficient. I would not presume seeing a collar on someone meant they had a Master in and of itself.

Just curious - you were just released 2 weeks ago and you already have a mentor/protector and you are looking for a Dom?  How long were you collared?

i wouldn't pay any attention if you were wearing one as a fashion statement or because you're collared by your Dom.

i tend to get funny stares from vanillas and those in the scene when i'm wearing my collars however they're very useful keeping undesireable drunks far away when i'm covering a concert.

Hi Cjenny. Yes I know the difference between being Collared, and just wearing a Collar for fashion, or just because it feels good (Like me, and the other post I made).

I have no idea why it should be meant as Self Collaring. If someone tells me they are wearing a Collar, I take it for granet, that they were Collared by a Mistress/Master.

Not Confused as I may sound, Sub BalletBob

Daddy said he's been working his ass off to make good money, and I said so that's why you don't have an ass, and he said yeah I have to get a new ass just so I can work it off again.

quote:

ORIGINAL: BalletBob

Hey Dawntreader. You better watch out with that. If you Laugh Your Ass off, there won't be anything for you to sit on, and what would you tell people to kiss, without your ass? But then again, I don't know you personally, so I don't know if you have any ass to spare.

Sitting on mine, to keep from laughting it off, Sub BalletBob

PS Now it is your move.
