It's now been two days since my harrowing encounter with Bacillus Cereus, but my sensitive little tum-tum is feeling the equivalent of post-traumatic stress syndrome...........a lingering vestige of my little pathogenic "pal" from a chicken salad gone horribly awry.

The workday grinds on like a Trail of Tears;  I can feel the fecal slush being churned "centrifuge" style in my stomach.  The pressure on my poor water-lily of an asshole is un-fucking believable, Ladies and Gentlemen.  My menial security gig requires to traverse the equivalent of fifteen miles a day across an Indian gaming facility, but the whole time,  I seriously feel like I need to spray a solid stream projectile of liquid shit across the floral-decorated carpet.  I can only manage to hold it in by merit of sheer, animal willpower, taxed to the breaking-point.

It was only a week before, when my stools took the shape of dainty little "cumulus-cloud" clusters.  Now, I spill brown river water into the company facilities.  Oh joy.

My word of advice to the CollarMe public is to watch what you fucking eat, because food poisoning is the gift that keeps on giving.  I might not be crouched over the john, wishing for death right now, but I'm still feelin' the heat at work.  Make sure that meat is THOROUGHLY COOKED.  I can't quite emphasis that point enough times.

Witchazel medicated pads that are normally used for hemroids will help sooth the poor water-lily asshole. Oh, and wash your hands after.

Ugh I've been there. Okay not needing the toilet while walking a casino floor but I have had food poisoning & been hospitalized for it heh. Do you KNOW what you have to do with diarrhea in a hospital? Ackkkkkkk the humiliation.
Liquids, drink loads of water so you don't dehydrate please please. If you can't eat you may need to drink a sports drink with added electrolytes. Liquid is your friend when it is poured into the other end. Hahaha. Sorry but I thought that was cute.
MasterFireMaam? Thankyou for that tip, I hadn't know of using witch hazel for that. Egads you are a font of information as soooo many here are.

Dude the flu has been ripping through this great land of ours....You might not have food poisoning....went to eat pizza with some friends....They got sick that nite.  I fell ill about 30 hours later (incubation time)...few links...might change your diagnosis.

There you go!!! If you have it you will puke for about 5-10 hours upon onset,  and then have the pleasure of pooing  liquid for about 4-5 days straight...Enjoy!!!

A lot of diet treats are made with mannitol which is actually a baby laxative. Erp, or is that burp? It is used to sweeten things & I learnt to read labels lol.

eeww.... that is aweful...  you are in CT, I think I read? If so, question, did you eat it at said Indian Gaming Facility? If so, please tell me so I don't ever visit that eating establishment the next time I visit.

I feel for you... get better soon...

edited to add: Plain rice, bananas and dry toast are your friends now.

Nope.  I'm almost positive that I was infected from a highly-suspect, but sinfully delicious chicken-salad eaten at a popular, New London bar.

Hint:  The bar's name is also the title of a cheesy, 80's movie starring Patrick Swayze as a martial-arts savvy tough-guy.

Hmm... well, I don't know that movie, but, I also haven't been into much of CT in years other than the Casino's, but should I ever, I will go to IMDB and figure out which bar to avoid... New London? Anywhere near Bridgeport? That's where my cousins and other family used to live.

Again, feel better, and think "binding" foods.. bananas, et al.

Well..........I only shat four times today off of two slices of pizza.  Bananas and rice would be a good idea, though.

Man.  If I go drinking tonight, my tummy is going to go through gastrointestinal Guernica.  This is where those adult decision making neurons are supposed to fire.  Goddammit to hell, it's not working!!!!!!!!

Oh Spanky, I am feeling for ya. I had food poisoning last year and it was utter hell. I can never look at a can of tomatoes the same way again. Canned tomatoes, who knew??? I have never been so violently ill in my life.

As for the hideous stomach virus that is going around, I got clobbered by that just a few weeks ago and it took me 3 days just to feel human again.

As someone else said, drink lots and lots of liquids, make sure your getting plenty of potassium to avoid the muscle cramps. I hope you feel better very soon.

I had food poisoning or a bad stomach virus last week. I felt like I was on a acid trip. I should of waved at the walls because they were waving at me. I got in bed and closed my eyes and was seeing all kind of things flashing. I was vomiting like a fire hydrant. I know what you mean Tre, it does suck. I recovered within a day though.
