One of the simple pleasures of owning a slave is to feel her naked form next to mine in bed.... There have been isolated occasions when I've sent her to a separate bed but that's mostly been about ensuring we both get a good night's sleep when I've had to get up at some unholy hour for work. It's times like those that that same naked female form can be too distracting....

But sleeping on the floor? Never in this land of the dreaded funnel-web spider - the one I once found in the house made it a lifetime lesson learnt! Besides, if she's been a good enough girl to warrant sleeping in the same room, then the same bed it shall be.

He has teased me about bringing home a pallet from work (he is a longshoremen... they have plenty there), or when we go to Costco he jokes that he is going to buy me a new bed as he points to the pallets on the floor. He might very well make me sleep on the floor one day, who knows? I do not think he will for a few reasons, he has restless leg syndrome and he snores and I never have complained about this because it does not bother me (a first in his life) and he likes rolling over and using me whenever he pleases even while I am still sleeping.. in fact it pleases him that he can use me this way... so I do not see me ever being relegated to the floor long term, and as I age I do not think it would be a wise thing for him to do so if he wants to get a lot out of me. I mean sore tired people do not function as well as rested ones.

I prefer mine in the bed with me, she's warm and soft.
I could see where a night on the floor could be a powerful statment or an effective punishment.

My Mistress allows me in bed with her. She told me she prefers a fullsize bed over a queensized or larger so that I have to remain close to her. If during the night I roll away from her she finds me and snuggles up tight again. I guess when it comes to sleeping at the end of the day it is more vanilla like for us.

Not me, The only place I belong is in bed with my daddy! not the couch not the floor not a cage, ok well maybe on the couch when his snoreing bugs me, but any other time in our bed.

Neither Aqua nor I have the greatest backs in the world, and I pride practicality and waking up feeling rested over a point of principle. Having slept on a number of uncomfortable beds and on the floor at several friends' houses, I can personally say that I almost never sleep well when I'm not in my own bed (and I'm quite capable of sleeping through a full-siren police chase, earthquake, AND heavy metal concert, all right on top of one another!). Besides, I'd much rather have my kitten keeping the bed warm for me in the middle of the night than have to take all that time to heat the damn thing up myself... boobs make for a much more comfortable snuggle than pillows.

I made my slave sleep on the floor. It was not for a punishment (although sometimes he felt he deserved it when he messed up), but because I hate being touched when I sleep. If someone touches me I will instantly wake up. This makes for a horrible night sleep when sharing the bed.

I also have bad back bad hips and other general shit that make sleeping on surfaces hard. as a kid we used to camp out on tables at the lake, sleep on tile floors but after I had two accidents fallin off a horse, and problems with sever debilitating pain on a regular basis, the first night someone got the "bright" idea to make me sleep on a floor they'd be chofuring me to the ER for muscle relaxers so I could so much as stand up let alone serve them.

I never slept on the floor nor in a cage, but Master does plan on doing so. Sleeping in the same bed as him, it will be a reward.

My Master wouldn't want me anyplace else but right in bed next to him. He loves falling asleep with me wrapped in his arms, and getting a handfull of boobage at the same time.

I will say also, there is nothing better than falling asleep with those strong arms wrapped around me...safe in my Masters arms.

We train our subs/slaves to please us. If it pleases you having your sub/slave sleep next to you at night, then you have trained them well.

What pleases one Dom may not please another Dom. Your female dominate friend should mind her own business. Manage her own slave(s) as she sees fit. You will manage yours as you see fit. What pleases her may be something different then what pleases you.

I find it pleasing to give and recieve back massages. I would not tolerate another Dom/Domme telling me I was wrong for having a sub/slave please me. It's not wrong, because it damn well pleases you and you find pleasure in it.

It depends on what the sub is to me. If they are also a lover, then I want them in bed with me. If it's not a sexual relationship, then I prefer them on the floor next to the bed.

As I get older (and subsequently, as the subs I see get older), then the floor becomes a fairly harsh option, particularly as the 'normal' body aches and pains develop. A good solution may be to use an air mattress or futon mattress on the floor, rather than just a sleeping bag.

Oh, this is definitely not an issue for me. I have not had him sleep anywhere else except next to me in all the nights we've been together. We do have an apartment with a 2nd bedroom and bed, which happens when two people merge their stuff and one wants to get rid of a mattress, and I have jokingly said that if we ever get tired of each other he can go sleep in his bed in the other room. But in all honesty, if I ever were that angry that I didn't want him next to me, I'd imagine there would be a much larger problem.

With a former dom (not my Daddy Dom but a Master-type), every night i slept on the floor next to his bed, on a mat with a pillow and blanket, and chained to his bed, with a chain that reached to the bathroom....and that was from day one. And that was the case even in hotels (which i hated because well, hotel room floors

) That was not for discipline...it was just what he chose.

No partner after that required this....and i much preferred to sleep in the bed....so that worked out good for me. But i really wish we had thought of a sleeping bag. At least then i could feel like i was camping out

Ours sleep on the floor. Not the bare floor but rather on a nice thick cushy mat with pillow and blankets in our room. I see a bare hard floor as causing problems for their physical state.
There are several reasons, first off the primary relationship is my husband and myself. I see the bed as our intimate space except of course at times when we are using slave or times when all of us are hanging out piled up together watching tv or something. I'm also an insomniac and when I do fall asleep I sleep very lightly. I don't like being crowded and when it's time to sleep I need space. Three in the bed is too hard for me.
Another reason is for the slaves reminder of place.

Is sleeping on the floor/caged etc used more for slaves than submissives? That is sort of what I am seeing here from the responses.

I haven't noticed a difference between anything used "more" for slaves or subs except the label itself.

For me, I has depended upon the type of relationship I had with the submissive. In the cases where we were romantic partners as well as Mistress/submissive, I would usually let them share my bed. However, when I was displeased with them, I would have them sleep elsewhere, sometimes on the sofa or the floor depending on the degree of my displeasure. They learned that sleeping next to me was not a given, it was a priviledge that could be removed when I deemed necessary.

For the submissives who served me but were not romantic partners, I didn't really want them sharing my bed. Usually they would sleep on the sofa, or on an airbed on the floor. When displeased with them, I would have them sleep directly on the floor.

i've slept all over. Randomly, as it suits him. He generally prefers me nekkid next to him in bed. At times its the floor, at times its bound where ever he was last "busy" with me, a couple of times in a cage (although he usually brings me into bed in the middle of the night), some times its bound in bed and one of my favorite places to sleep is curled up around his feet underneath his desk.

my former Master would make me sleep on the floor in front of the pc. We were real-life, but not 24/7 so i often slept on the floor in front of my pc to listen for his 'ping' in case he needed me during the night. The best night of the relationship was such a night. He was working on his book at the time and told me it made him feel good to know i was 'at his side' while he wrote. It was the single-most nicest thing he ever said to me. Honestly, in retrospect those are some of my best memories. Weird huh?
