Actually though the majority of my ancestry is white european (english, irish, scotch, dutch, swedish and german) there is a small amount of sioux indian in my background so I'm not entirely white in my makeup. Anyway racism is a two way street.  You can't just say that white people are racist and forget that a person's skin color has nothing to do with if they have racist feelings or views.  You find it in every culture.  Personally I am prejudiced against prejudice.  It is the heart within that matters, not the color of a person's skin.

This is true. If anyone doubts it they should try getting hold of a copy of Joel Chandler Harris's brer rabbit book.  I saw "song of the south" (a sterotypical movie indeed) when I was a young kid, and wanted to see what else the rabbit had been up to.  I found it more than slightly hard going to read any of the stories though, because of the slang wording (for lack of a better term) of the tales.

When in rome, it's hardly rude of the romans to ask that the visitors remember that they are, in fact, in rome and to try to do as the romans do. Communicaiton is key for society to function. I need to be able to tell my banker where I want my money, my Dr. where it hurts and my cab driver where to take me. All of this requires a standard language that we can all speak and understand.

There are many other languages, many other cultures, but they can't all speak in their own tongue and expect to understand each other. Someone needs to compromise. Those that compromise are logically those in the minority. On an american board, it is logical that people expect a reasonable skill in the english language.

If I travelled to your country, I would hope that some people could speak enough english to communicate with me, but I'd realise that they had no obligation to do so and that I was the one with the deficiency, not them.

While I will acknowledge elements of white priviledge, racism, and white guilt amongst most, if not all caucasians (whether they know it or not), I happen to think that prejudice goes in all directions. You, my dear, seem quite prejudiced to me.

I think it is possible, through serious self-examination and exploration, to develop a non-racist white identity. I don't, however, think that excusing poor grammar and spelling because of the color of someone's skin is a good way to go about that. In fact, I think it's counter-productive. I go to a college in which probably at least a third of the students are persons of color, and many of them speak and write English more properly than I do. On the other hand, I happen to have been raised in a family full of ignorant redneck types who couldn't string together a paragraph any more coherently than the OP here. I think they would have been similarly lambasted had they posted here.

Pulling the, "you're all racist," card in a situation in which that just isn't true isn't helping anyone. Why can't we all just get along, for crying out loud?

As for the OP... well suffice it to say that my thoughts echo many of those already stated here.

Personally I find the importance of anal sex somewhat over-emphasized in places. I enjoy it, but it is definitely not my favorite thing ever.

I honestly couldn't understand what he was on about half the time!!!  I truly dont understand this slang way of typing - it's annoying and stressful and dare I say it - extremely "common" / "rough"...., just type normally please - no slang....not everyone can understand it.

Now i have nothing against the culture of other contries, African, wonderful, Spanish, a delight, what i have a problem whit is ghetto talk, you know ghetto is not a black thing, it is a bottom of sosiety thing, there are white, black, asian and so on in the getto, and many young white men to speak like the OP and i have as mutch against them speaking it..

Now, i think you should go see a psychietrist, not becouse of your color, but becouse you are paranoid, i do not know if a traumatic experience made you like this, or you are afected by generations of hate, but getting help for it may be a good idea.

On point ... anal sex hurts a lot. Done on the spur of the moment, hurt is all you end up with. But, someone that uses it to tease your mind, can make is very erotic and highly submissive. Knowing in the morning, what will be happening in the evening, can drive you insane. It also allows you to remove the messiness aspect of anal, which improves the whole act by a factor of ten. There are also some things that can be done to ameliorate some of the pain ... better not bang on the TOS by mentioning them here. [;)]

What is curious about the arguments about the speech patterns a person uses seem to be engaging a lot of emotional upset in the reader.

I could hardly understand a word the author used in the book Trainspotting, which was one of the best and weirdest looks into the heroin culture in Scotland I have ever read.  Yet nobody accused him of being Race A, probably because the author is both caucasian and northern european.  Sure he cannot speak proper English, but writing that book in proper english would have diluted the impact of the book.

What I do when I read something written in a dialect of a culture (language is not a race based genotype) is to ask myself why the person chose to write in this manner.  This is particularly true of somebody who knows how to use proper English.

It is entirely possible that the person wrote using that to elicit an emotional response, and I would have to give him kudos because the strategem worked.
