i think that as long as a protest is peaceful, it's wrong for physical action to be taken against the protesters. i also think it's really more important to hear both sides of the individuals living in brazil on this issue, than it is to hear mine. after all, they're the ones who will be the most affected.

The actions of George Bush jnr over the last few years have made a lot of people outside of the US very, very angry in a way that I don't think previous presidents have. Whilst some presidnets have been unpopular Bush is really hated in many places by a wide variety of people of all political view points. Some people will always find an excuse for violent demonstration but perhaps with GW it is more a boiling over of feelings than an fight looking for an excuse to happen.

They also said that they're pissed off because George Bush is building a fence along the border... something that Americans want, and something that makes me curious about the protesters' reasoning. They must really love America if they're all bent because they think that the President is making it harder to come here. What return do you think he'll get for the 2 billion dollars worth of bribes to the rulers of those countries? Minus whatever has been kicked out into space by astronauts there is the exact amount of water on this planet as there was 10 million years ago.

Mayor Daley of Chicago was fuming mad- had offerred many resources.... if bush doesnt wish to spend cash-fine- but to OBSTRUCT help the people all over the world tried to send- I suggest he sleep on the Internstate highway for 6 days......

Thompson...My choice of fuel would be hydrogen. First by using catalytic reformation process to get the hydrogen from Natural gas, and running pipes to every home( the same pipes can later be used to pump hydrogen) Then producing every molercule of it we can from our garbage. Then a mix of Tidal, Wind and Geothermal to make electrcity to make hydrogen to fill in the gap. A widley dstributed power system of small Fuel cells in most every home or perhaps neighborhood. The same stuff can run our vehicles also. Not "all the ills" but most

That reminds me of the Russian commander on the submarine who refused help from the Americans. His reason was politics and ideology are more important than life. Not sure what the US government's reasons were.
