I am sure you see the distinction between the questions and would like your take on it.

Both. But I am not equating discipline with punishment here.

Mostly it's a mental discipline, as he will rarely physically bind me, but will command me not to move while he makes evil on me. This is most difficult for me, being that I hate pain and all. But I am bound without bindings, if that makes sense.

When he does bind me, it's typically for his amusement / enjoyment (but he prefers seeing me unbound and trying not to move). Once he used one of those door doohickies to dangle me from my wrists while he inflicted corporal punishment on me. But then he's done that to amuse himself, too.

So either way, I'd say both.
