At the top of my list would be clothes pins, Ben Gay and electric toothbrush
This might help:

household objects

My list:

1)dog grooming brush (the kind with the metal bristles)-good for abrasive play, good for very painful spanking if they're into that)
2)fly swatter-makes a great crop
3)book-make the bottom try to walk with it on their head, and if they drop it, they get punished...can be good for spanking, too.
4)the sharpest knife in the kitchen, or a good razor blade, depending on which that house has-good for bloodplay/knifeplay
5)a couple of candles-wax play, yum
6)ice cubes-good for making wax play even more intense
7)duct tape-bondage, of course. Rope isn't normally found in an average person's house
8)bandana-good gag or blindfold as needed
9)clothespins-easy nipple clamps and pinchers
10) a chair...any chair with or without armrests, but preferably with armrests. This is great for bondage, either with back or chest against backrest.

I've got all of that stuff around my house...:D

my favorites:  kitty toy - it's a very flexible plastic that STINGS when it hits, or can be tickly when using the feather on the other end.
Tiny hair clips - about 1/2" or less in size, springy and very very ouchy. best nipple clips i've ever found
Wooden hairbrush - leaves a beautiful pattern upon spanking
Pants hangers - good for nipples especially with self play
Hair ties - for simple binding etc. and i am allergic to latex so no rubber bands for me
bamboo skewers -  bundle together or use separately on stretched balls and they will believe you are punching holes
vegetable holder - sold by pamered chef. has a handle and lots of sharp spikes!
X-large paint stick - the kind they give you for a 5 gal paint can
Vet wrap - it's like that stick to it's self ace bandage stuff in pretty colors. having a gymnast/cheerleader in the house
                            means we have lots around
                     Colored duct tape

Of course now i am looking at the dog brushes, especially the new curry brush i just bought.....thanks for the idea

SimplyMichael -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (4/10/2007 12:02:26 PM)

  1. Flour
  2. Shrimp in the shell
  3. Garlic
  4. Butter
  5. Ginger root
  6. Nice crisp Riesling
  7. Two candles
  8. Saran wrap
  9. Magic marker
  10. Dessert

Pasta is best handmade and while an Atlas is wonderful, having her hand roll it out is priceless.  De veining shrimp is a PIA but she would do it for me.  Garlic and butter to cook the shrimp in and perhaps a touch of wine.

Once dinner was ready, she could sit at my feat as I eat by candlelight.  She would of course be my table, sitting VERY still so as not to spill my wine.  The candle of course, with a touch of butter would add just the right amount of light although she really has to arch her back so her ass is at just the right angle.  The flickering light would perfectly illuminate "my little whore" written in a cut circle around her cut little tail.

When I was ready for dessert, I would wrap her in Saran wrap and in between dripping wax on her would feed her sweets of all sorts, especially the one she always craves.   The Saran wrap would help hold in the ginger "fig" which earlier would have made it a bit hard to sit still and be my perfect little table.

Don't forget the BBQ grill brush.  It is great for impact and abrasion play.

Open a firshermans tackle box ...  Lots of things in there from mild to [sm=hair.gif]. lol  Fish line has many uses by itself.  I usually use the old Spyder Wyre, can cut though if your not carefull.  Fish hooks, steal leaders, the old style fish strings.  The kind with a metal loop at one end and the metal spike on the other, usually made out of that cheap plastic rope.  Great for breath play, and other things.  haven't found much use for the plastic worms though...Yet. lol  If you take  spoon and cut off the hooks, this makes a nice toy with you tie to to a peice of string.  Lightly run it over their body, or lay into them with it like a single tail.  (The latter is why I take the hooks off first...lol)   Of course there is the usual fillet knife too...  Don't forget the fishing poles, great crop substitutes.  You can remove the guides or leave them on.

Ski/snowboarding equipment offers some nice ideas too...

Just a few thoughts, enjoy.

Pezzle -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (5/17/2007 11:22:03 PM)

The most commonly used sensation play item in my house: THE PAINTBRUSH

I'm an art major with a speciality in painting, currently going through school... I have every size shape thickness and bristle type you want XD!

Everything else is pretty much the obvious... ice cube trays and whatnot. We really just have a lot of leather specialty items and rope.. but I really can't paint the same way again

NINASHARP -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (5/18/2007 5:42:48 AM)

Don't forget a carpet runner. The clear plastic ones work like a bed of nails when turned over because of the sharp little tacks on the other side!

MissOchistic -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (5/18/2007 7:22:07 AM)

Fast reply.

1) Metal bristle hairbrush (like maybe a dog grooming brush) (paddle and sensation)
2) Good sharp tipped kitchen knife or razor. (i like knife play)
3) Electrical tape. (bondage)
4) Thick sleeping mask. (blindfold)
5) Rubber Bouncy ball (large) (gag)
6) Thick non0scented candle
7) lighter
8) Kitty teaser, the long plastic kind with feathers at the end (essentially a cheap whip/tickler)
9) long/several bungee cords (postless tie-downs)
10) a leash.

bigskycountry -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (5/18/2007 7:58:25 PM)

1: A robe. The belts are great for an impromteau after shower scenario.
2: Extension cords/Co-axial (television cable)/telephone cable.
3: Long-handled shoehorn. My brother got me thisl for christmas a while back. It has proved amazingly versatile:
http://www.amazon.com/Golf-Club-Handle-Long-Shoe/dp/B0002XN1A6/ref=pd_sim_dbs_hpc_1_img/102-0922525-3540110
4: A longtime favorite: Rothko brand snakebite kit. Perfect for not only sucking out venom, but constant suction on other things.
5: A bag of dry kidney beans. Nuns evidently used to punish students occasionally by making them kneel on a pile of these. Which brings us to:
6: Broom handle. Nuns also used these as a genuflection punishment  tool. I have NEVER seen corner time have more of an impact.
7: Zip ties. Remember they can be daisy-chained to increase their length indefinitely, too.
8: Meat tenderizer. For both punishment and insertion.
9. Ratchet straps!
10. the flashlight(s) of your choosing. Be sure to remind the sub that you will put a condom over it. Maglight handles are knurled and many other brands can have very sharp edges.

Editing to add that one should, for safety reasons, have a pair of diagonal cutter pliers ready if using zip ties.

Rayban -> RE: 10 household items used for play? (7/6/2007 8:46:48 AM)

No one mentioned Pickle Pinchers.  These items are similar to parts pickup tools but are only 6 to 8 inches long, they have a plunger on one end that when pressed exteneds the fingers from the other end.
