I can assure you there's no courses for that here in California but it's a tempting idea to think of putting together a course in "malewife 101" lol

Age has little to do with experience. In the interim perhaps try working on improvement, seek and learn further about the lifestyle you seek. Go to munches and meet people, talk and learn from them. Believe that you will be capable of being the male wife you wish to be for someone someday.

I don't really want one, I'm in the minority. I don't see housework as inherently feminine, I know I'm pretty bad at it. I also would rather interact with M in fun ways than sit and chill while he's stuck with dishes, which would drive any sane person to resentment after a while. But I freelance and work in the home, him out of it. I try and cover a few more of the bases because I'm positioned to: not ALL of them, because my work day is just as valid, but a number of them. Our house is not a bastion of tidy, but we're creatives and we'd rather have great scenes than pass the white glove test. :)

I do have to agree with this. There is always a double standard for women. Women can achieve but they must also take care of home. So, what's wrong with men doing the same. Society has constantly pounded into the minds of men they when it comes to the house there is no such thing as equality. I beg to differ.

Should I have a male wife (mw). My mw will clean, take care of the shopping, laundry, and work. There would be no arguments of sharing...because contrary to popular belief I am the HWIC (Head Wife in Charge).

However everyone is entitled to do what makes them happy.

I have a caveat to add, it would be "nice" to have a male wife that did all or most of the chores.
But, I realistically DON'T expect it.
If anything it would be shared responsiblities most of the time.

To me, my concept of a "male wife" is mainly about the dynamics of power, control and obedience.
A lifestyle Dominant woman/submissive man relationship!
Living that way, not just "playing" it on Friday nights or when in the mood to role-play.
Imagine that?
Traditionally the "wife" is a helpmate to a Dominant male husband.
In a role reversal, I AM the DOMINANT party---he is my helpmate/submissive.
That is the main reason he is my wife.
And, like most good little ladies, he will normally do as he is told!

Now let me settle in my easy chair, "Slut, fetch me a cold beer and some hot pizza, and hurry up!"

Exactly! I think I mentioned this as well on the sister thread I started on this. For example I enjoy cooking. It isn't a chore to me and it's something that relaxes me. Something about all that chopping, slicing and smashing that gets out some aggression I suppose. On the other hand I usually leave the kitchen looking like a whirlwind went through it despite my completely organized mise en place. So I love the creation and devouring...the clean up...not so much.

I'm perfectly capable of fixing the disposall, I own quite a collection of power tools and my tool box is better stocked than most men's that I know. I can stud, hang and mud drywall as well. So I don't need a male wife to handle these things for me; I'm more than capable of handling them myself. I do however want a male wife that has the desire to make my life easier and take over handling the things I don't have the time to do. One that will do them because I've requested them to, not because I can't do them, but because he wants to do them.

Some things, like cooking are even better if it's something the male wife and I can do together. Although he better remember he's responsible for turning off the burners when things become a little too heated.

I am starting to think that Kitten is going to be the ultimate male wife, if we get that far. When he was here the other night, I cooked dinner. Not only did he serve, and do dishes, but he brought me a beer while I waited for him to finish the dishes. Then , we watched baseball scores, and HE compalined that we always watch sports after dinner, and wanted cuddle-time.

doesn't sound unreasonable MzMia and SDFemDom. i've been living alone for quite awhile and keep up two residences, doing all the cleaning, laundry, some cooking (mostly eat out), bill paying, investing, yardwork, window washing... i used to work in a couple of restaraunts when i was 18, cooking and also dish washing. i still don't see what the big deal is about washing dishes. i still do them by hand. kind of relaxing to me. i found that i couldn't count on anyone else, so i learned how to take care of myself. the idea of staying at home and taking care of my lady sounds pretty good and i wouldn't need her money either! it would be easy to have the house clean, groceries bought, make her breakfast in the morning, be groomed and dressed appropriately when she came home and cook, fix her bath & comfort her. i wouldn't mind being treated like her slut at home, but be respected out in public. but, she'd still be in charge. but she better be smart, successful, nice looking and in charge.
