I love the internet, and modern life. Everything is so civilized and polite. People genuinely strive to be their best, and hold themselves to high standards, especially women. It's so refreshing to write a brief, friendly, polite note to someone, look at my mailbox a few days later, notice that she has read it, and see that she has not even condescended to respond......fills my heart with love: gentle, kind thoughts run through my mind...... Trust me, men. Women really do mean it. They really do want a gentleman who exhibits manners. They want someone who actually reads their profile, and makes a relevant comment. But they don't want to actually interact with you. After all, what do you think this is, a place to actually meet people???

Another "wah, no one is responding to my e-mail" thread. What is the real-world equivalent to this? The "I keep asking girls out but they keep saying no" thing? Or the "I took them out to a movie and paid for everything, but they still won't return my calls"?

We (women) get a lot of emails. A whole lot of emails. Many, many, many, many emails. Maaany.... so sometimes, it is hard to respond to each one- especially since a lot of them are clearly "form" emails, and that's bloody depressing too.

Kind of. It's too bad I sepnt such a long time not on the site- I've lost all my examples of sample emails- but they pretty much went, "Name/age/location/occupation/example slave contract/contact info." Nice, politely worded, but... no reference to why they thought I, specifically, merited a message. Bit depressing really.

Why should I respond to an email that proposes a D/s relationship when my profile clearly states in BIG BOLD LETTERS, NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING. I mean come on, if a Dom sends me an email stating that he is no longer searching cause he found exactly what he was looking for (in me I might add) and this said Dom hasn't had a single conversation with me, and my profile is clear about not interested in meeting that "Someone special", do you honestly think I'm gonna send him an email saying "Oh thank you Sir for your email, I'll serve you come take me away from this cruel life I lead?" Not only am I not that desperate but I'm certainly not that stupid either. So before you whine about not getting responses, think about what you are putting out there to begin with. Take the time to read what the submissive has written. There may be alot of insight into the workings of his or her mind. They may just be here to learn from the boards and not really interested in finding anyone.
