Actually, myself included, I would say over half of the female dominant regular posters on this site are over 40. So....do you mean posts on this side or profiles on the other side?

And you can say being married is irrelevant if you wish. I think when female dominants are more mature, they are comfortable in their own skin and looking for what they want, and let's face it, most dominants want you available WHENEVER they want you. Having to sneak, errr, be discreet I mean, makes that kind of hard. I want to talk to my subs WHEN EVER I want to talk to them.

edited to add: well I see you admitted your original question was poorly worded as you were talking about profiles instead of posts. The rest of my reply still stands....why would we want someone that is not at our beck and call? Some have inactive profiles so they can search proactively without being approached themselves. Dont know what to tell you but to wish you luck, and let you know belligerence is frowned upon by many

I hate to interrupt the redundant piling on, but I admit, I was curious to see where the original question would go, and not at all curious as to how many verbal lashes can be scored on the OP's numerous faults... Don't let me stop you, though, as it appears well-deserved.

While there are indeed women over the age of 50 here (it only took one of you to prove that, btw), as a fan of your demographic, I've also noticed that your ranks here are thin.

A shame. I was hoping for some sort of clue as to how to better bait my trap.

Women, because they're tired of the bullshit that always comes from all the young bucks trying to make their mark (and it's almost always bullshit)....us/you because we're old fuckers and we're just tired of all the bullshit...but some of them ("they"....the Dommes) have dealt with all the bullshit for a tad longer than we subs.

It's a Mobius strip. Can't win....can't lose....can't fucking kill 'em....can't fucking ("something"...I'm lacking here)....but you can't fucking something or other....and that's what pisses me off the most!

You can't go by the profiles. People pull their profiles when they aren't interested in receiving mail. As most dommes over 50 have probably found their ideal sub/lover/husband long ago, and are only interested in a pure service sub, if at all, they are the ones most likely to be invisible to the data.

Of course, considering that you have outed yourself as extremely rude, as only wanting play your way and with no interest in providing any service the odds are that even if there were a thousand dommes over 50 you still wouldn't get any responses. You want someone to do you? Go to a prodomme.

You want a relationship where you provide services for your domme, you better be able to show up and provide them on a regular basis. You can't. So what makes you attractive to a domme who has had hundreds of emails from would be subs?

I thought I better comment further, because it seems that most of the people replying are misinterpreting the question.

I base my original question on the lack of women over 50 in the profile database that are looking for submissive men. By doing a search of the profiles I can see plenty of them from women in the 25-45 age bracket but after that it drops rapidly. After the age of 55 there are almost no hits.

It seems that most of the women in the database are between the ages of 22-40. How come?

PLEASE READ: I am not basing the question on how many women I can find that are interested in me. I'm merely stating what I have observed by searching the database. I don't care to answer any more insulting questions about my desirability because that's irrelevant to the question. Please stay on topic!

Actually I was referring more to the profiles in the database. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I suspect there are more young women making posts to the forums also, but that would be very tough to figure out. It's much easier to do searching in the database of profiles.

If I search the database for different age categories in my state, there are pages and pages of results for women under the age of 40. There are only 3 women listed as "female dominants" over the age of 55. The distribution of profiles is very telling.

Well, i did the same search in your listed state and found 9 Dommes listed. Perhaps you had other criteria besides age? Just dropping it to 50 adds another 20. Now a search in my state had considerably more, and if you take short jog to your neighbor California there are more than 50 who have been on just today.

This appears to be a demographic question since you are basing it on what you found in your state. Perhaps you should contact state officials and let them know of this problem

But seriously - my experience in getting involved in munches, local parties, etc, is that there is NO shortage of women in the 40+ and 50+ age range getting out there and having a damn good time amongst the pervs. However, when you add in other factors (again, BPS i.e. Big Picture Syndrome), the pool of potential eligibles always narrows exponentially.

You sort of proved my point. Only 50 from the largest state in the U.S. doesn't sound like very many. Did you count how many profiles there are from California between the ages of 25-45? Or how about 30-35?

I was 5/10 at one time....and I have NO problem allowing that I'm now 3/6 with a slight slump.

I'm 3/6 (not that there's anything wrong with that)....and I'll tell you something....I'm a TALL 3/6....I carry my stature proud....

There was a time when I was 4/3....and I never shirked from my "height restriction".....

I may be 2/11 someday...but I'll tell you what....no matter how much I sulk....no matter how far below sea level I may fall....I'll STILL be taller than a Danish salt shaker....and I take fucking pride in that!

Not sure here but is it possible that the older female Dommes, don't find the need to look. That if they are truew Dommes they may have a very busy lifestyle that affords little time for leisure. I could be wrong.
