Status: offline 		What the heck is a "rapture dom"?  I received a pm from a guy claiming to be a rapture dom.  I'm not ready to be transported to meet Jesus.  No, I'm not asking him, sometimes it's best not to respond.

Status: offline 		I'd be interested in knowing as well. The dictionary offers three non-religious definitions, though.

1.ecstatic joy or delight; joyful ecstasy. 2.Often, raptures. an utterance or expression of ecstatic delight. 3.the carrying of a person to another place or sphere of existence.

Maybe it's a comment about his perceived abilities?

Maybe it was a 'rapture of the deep' reference.  Perhaps the plan was to take you into deep-sea diving and revel in your confusion as the nitrogen invades your bloodstream.

I also think Raptor Dom, and then my head gets all silly and starts imagining a bald eagle with a whip.

Status: offline 		I haven't heard this term since a yahoo group 3 years ago, one always hopes these things just die out.

It's basically a romanticized term meaning that the dom has so swept away the sub that she is totally enraptured by him and thus incapable of doing anything but his will.  Versus just getting to know her or a conscious choice of consent.
