I have, in my time, met a few Masters that have expressed an opinion that there is no such thing as a purist natural dominant woman. I would be interested to have some views on this.

Actually is there such a thing as a purist natural dominant man?  Dominant is such a relative word anyways,  Dominant in regards to whom and where and when? I'm being a bit of a smart ass here.   Show me anybody who is 100% purist natural dominant 100% of the time 24/7 every day of the year.   Sounds like somebody is trying to capitalize on human nature to instill or an attempt to instill doubt in your mind.

Yep you are being a smart arse because there are some of us for whom this is simply who we are. It maybe expressed in diffrent ways depending on situational context but there is no change in the inner person.

I don't buy into the switch adgenda of "Everyone is a little of both", maybe a LOT of people are, not everyone.

I am myself 100% of the time. Naturally dominant? By the definitions of some people, sure. To be honest, I don't think about it much at all and I strongly believe that self-labeling is often nothing more than silly chest-beating. In short, the question put forth by the OP is unanswerable.

By ‘purist’ I mean that they do not switch, do not have a submissive side.

I will just add that I have had dominants give me that sort of knowing wink. I think to some dominants it’s a challenge. They believe that they can convert! A bit like wanting to convert a lesbian!

I have had the pleasure of knowing many females who were purely dominant in both nature and play; with no switch tendencies at all. It sounds as if the Master's that you are speaking with have not met very many females.

I think we each have things, even if it's just a boss, to which we will defer.

Ahem, as a switch myself I have to say there is no such agenda to start with, and certainly not everyone believes that, even switches.

That's like saying you're tired of the bisexual agenda of 'everyone is a little of both'

In the circles I roam I don't find many bi folks pushing that at every opportunity. I DO however find a large number of switches pushing the "switch adgenda".... certainly not EVERY switch believes it but it is raising its head so frequently and in diffrent places and from dis-similar people apart from the commanality of being 'switch' that it is definatly taking on a shape of its own. Hence I have came to view it in that manner.

A living walking talking breathing adjective?

A purist natural dominant woman as compared to whom?

A purist natural dominant woman as compared to what?

My perception of a purist natural dominant woman wouldn't be anything human.

My perception of a purist natural dominant male wouldn't be anything human.

Whose perception is right?

There is no objective way to find out... but that wasn't the question was it?

That's right... you just wanted opinions!

This is just my opinion:

People live on a (metaphorical) spectrum, and within this spectrum there is a gradient vector field. People languidly move about this gradient and die; never to find out what's at the end of the spectrum, or if the spectrum has an end. Throughout time, there have been individuals, (through action, perserverance & luck) who have not only been able to explore this spectrum, but map it out and manipulate as well. These people reject tradition, and create their own realities. By doing so they inspire others to do the same and the cycle continues.

"Dominant" is just a piece of the spectrum. "Submissive" is just another piece of the spectrum. They don't always fit together... to really see what's going on you have to look beyond the duality of things and see the gray - dient.

Anyways... that's why I think that there are people that are on the "opposite ends of the spectrum", and that's why I'm here looking for my little piece of  "the spectrum".

Cuz us switches are impure, we're icky and taint the gene pool.

Being a switch isn't so bad... you're just flip flops who don't know who you are!

At least you're not like me... a walking contradiction!
