Oh, no. YOWTCH!! I've broken ribs before & it's no dang fun at all. You take care of yourself & get lotsa rest & don't try to take care of LO or BO. Make them take care of each other!! The drugs will help you to not care what happens when they take care of each other.

actually i was laughing at poor hubby's reaction. God bless him, he wanted to get a few sitters for the LO so i could stay in bed. Nice thought and very sweet, but the LO is sick too and needs his mommy. The thought of what the kid would do to a poor sitter made me chuckle

Get the sitter, holly. She can cook and clean and you and L.O. can stay in bed together watching cartoons.
Remembering my own adventures on codeine cough syrup, I couldn't be trusted with a butter knife let alone something sharper.

thanks Celeste. And i am avoiding any sharp objects for a bit!! Hell...the LO asked me to put the straw into a juice box and it took 4 attempts

Yep, get someone to help put around the house while you and the wee bairn spend time watching cartoons and movies and coloring and all that fun stuff!

And Holly.......you are hereby banned from handling any sharp objects and operating any kitchen AND household appliance and tools until you no longer need to take the meds with codeine!!!!!
