So..next time I ask to be pointed to something..dont point, just shoot me. Although I agree with LaT, it has been a very entertaining day for me. I was hooked by the third page. Going great, reading...reading...reading..and then Holly threw in a curve ball...a LINK! Yes! So I follow that link and ended up on a commercial of 9 pages, now THAT was enlightening! Now I understand fully what Fran was asking about last night on yahoo. I didn't get it when she asked, now I do! And the answer for my Amiga, is YES I DO

I am not done reading the Gor Saga (Heh pun intended) but one thing is for sure, I am learning alot more about the Gorean lifestyle from that thread (No thanks to Artie) than I ever learned before. I have much respect for the ladies over there.

Off to read more, but wanted to give you an update of my progress

Oh, and I have also had to change my hip waders a couple times today...

I feel like my ears have been raped

i will admit having little patience for Gor, but the way tammy and her alter egos went at it, was not a pretty sight.

If you dont like it, just step back, dont do the attention whore thing.

Anything she/he/it has to say on any subject, will now be ignored.

I dont have the nerveto read the entire thread. I recall the same person doing something similiar on this board about 2 or 3 months beforehand and I don't have the intent of getting into a battle of wits with the witless there. What I know about Gorean society is based on my collection of books and ebooks.

MoGa....yep, i agree with the sentiment....

i came for the trainwreck and skipped over the real posts....til one or two caught my eye....then i went back and read the OP, and the genuine responses and managed to learn a thing or two....so go figure. Heres hoping its over soon....but dont tell LaT i said that....shhhhh.

The responses from the women on that forum have been beautifully written and understandable to those who are not Gorean. The men have been articulant and have stated their opinions in a respectful manner without all the "chest thumping" that they were accused of. Tammy was clearly out of line. There is no accountability for her actions, which is sad. But in any case, I am hoping the thread doesnt get pulled until I can read to the final page. The jewels that are buried in the thread are worth the trash we have to go through to find them. I hope Mod 11 recognizes this. I think perhaps she does, and that is why the thread hasnt been pulled. It is a very good way to get to know some people who I have not interacted with on CM.

Perse, I'm glad that I am not the only person who found the gems amoungst the glitter.

By the way, reporting under age profiles does work, they get pulled, I reported one with an admission in a cmail to the people in power.
