i'm posting this because i remember all the "deepthroating" and blow job threads.

That is a big part of performing it properly, but it's also important to remember to relax your throat muscles. Otherwise, just holding your breath does nothing more than cause the sensation of suffocating. I have found that by relaxing the muscles, you can almost 'swallow'. ( LOL brings back memories of having spaghetti stuck in your throat, halfway down)

~sigh~ I think that my partner and I just don't -fit-. It's sucky. I've tried and tried and just can't do it.

's not even a matter of gagging. It's a matter of throat pain. :( 's a skill I'd love to have.

you could try chloraseptic or some of the other throat numbers........

worth a try perhaps. May get you started.

Ooh.... See I never knew that. I had tried so many different bizarre ways to make it work but I just couldn't seem to do it. I do gag a lot though...That really hinders things.

Am not sure if that is how it works for me...but anatomically, once a cock is in your esophagus past the gag relex, the tracheal opening closes. Thus no breathing.

I should have been clearer. By painful I meant "stretching painful." The same kind of feeling I get when I try to use a vaginal toy that's too big. As if I'm stretching past the limits of size. Maybe I just have a small esophogus./

Well i used to be able to do it with out thinking. But well out of practise for a few years.. and i forgot. LOL And some how in the middle of the night.. it just came to me.. i must of been practising in my sleep

hehehe.. or was in the middle of the day...... hmmmm Twell anyways. All of a sudden, as i was trying to regulate breathing control and not stopping, it just happened.

and i was like.. oh yeah.. i remember now!

Edited to ADD - oh yeah and as for penis' to big to go down into the throat (damn those men for having big heads).. i'd um.. try different ways to inserting it into my throat. Different angles? Sure you've tried them all..

When I quit smoking, I took up popsicles to satisfy My oral fixtation. They are great for practicing too <s> I dont have any gag reflexes so I never have to worry about that part, but I find if you take your time inch by inch, you should have no problem tickling his pupic hair with your nose <eg>

i have a strong gag reflex and cant get past it

I will have to try holding my breath. I do breathe, slow and easy through my nose, I do this so I don't gag..it has always worked. I try to keep calm and breathe which isn't always easy when he slamming himself down my throat lol.

i've always had a REALLY strong gag reflex... to the point where doctors couldn't use tongue depressors on me. i learned early how to flatten my tongue so they could see to the back of my throat. it's a hell of a lot better now than what it used to be, but i still gag on Master sometimes. one of these days i'd like to swallow him entirely without gagging, so i'll have to try those tricks :).

I'm getting better at it, but still gag a bit. Master doesn't mind though, He enjoys the sensation!

The problem I have is I hate to have my breathing obstructed (a legacy from a swimming pool mishap as a child). We're working on it, but when I feel a panic coming on I signal with 3 taps on His leg or butt and He will pull back a bit to let me catch my breath again

The guy I'm fooling around with right now has an 8 gauge PA. When She wears the strapon, I have found that slow easy relaxation of the throat muscles works, and gently and a bit slowly breathing through the nose works. It can become sore and gagging for a while, and the partners giving technique counts. When She has required me to deep throat a man, it has not been so pleasant.. perhaps it was me or his rough technique. Again, relax, thhrought the nose slowly, might be a bit sore afterward.
