I am sure there are women who want men in chastity -- just look at how many women don't want sex. A wise bet would be there are far more women than men that fantasize about this.

You said you know many men who will wear chastity devices. OK, cool, but men will say a lot of things but that doesn't mean they are serious.

I've had a CB 6000 on someone for about 3 months now. The only time he is released is when I want use of the toy between his legs.

For cleanliness, he showers first using a massaging shower head, then he sits in a soapy bath with salts. He hasn't had any odor, chaffing, urinary tract, or other hygiene issues. He uses some baby oil to keep chaffing away...quite simple really.

He knows he belongs to me. I know he works extra hard to please me in hopes of release. I'm happy, and he hasn't complained (except for the first week when he was adjusting to having the device on). Win - win in my book.

You are one man... and cannot speak for all men. You are speaking it seems from personal experience and while I am sorry you feel as you do from your experiences... and that you are not given sex by your wife and you feel everyone is like the two of you... you are mistaken!

Now... let me give you a bit of my personal experience here and let you see how and why some may be like your experiences.

I am a very sensual person... I love sex and men! I want my man often... and I do mean often! But... there were a couple I did not want often because they treated me badly or they were inconsiderate... or were three strokes and you're out kind of guys who got off and left me wondering... is that all there is? If a man sucks at being a full partner... seeks elsewhere... demands his and doesn't give physically or emotionally and expect me to cater to him without some catering to me... I don't want sex with him.

If you put as much into your relationship with your wife... as you do dissing women and their attitudes and speaking for others... you might find your sexual experiences a bit different. Have I assumed here? You betcha! But what else do I have to go on than the things you say?

But is that suitable for longer-term use? It doesn't look like it could be worn under clothes without a massive tent and leather is porous so the straps will get all icky.

What Akasha says is true, and has been my experience. As I said earlier, after prolonged chastity, if left alone, your sex drive adapts and diminishes. But if teased, it is that much more stronger. After a week, I am just about climbing the walls without release, and Akasha is right about that frustration being readily used to the advantage of a dominant. I began with a very different mindset before chastity training. I have to agree with beeble, it looks bulky and uncomfy. It DOES look sexy though, perfect for a public play party or dungeon but it doesn't seem useful for long term.

Ms. Mlicious LOVES chastity. But the devices are so hard to sleep in long term. I really wish there was a more comfortable alternative.

There are times when the chastity can hinder sleep and that wasn't something I liked about them. So I would have them use something different when they needed to get some sleep and couldn't because of the chastity. A leash, cock ring... anything that wasn't going to disturb sleep but would be a reminder and then the chastity back on in the morning. When they start waking up two, three times a night and having to struggle with it, it poses other problems that I didn't think were part of where we were going with the chastity in the first place.

If men with high sex drives don't cum, we know what happens at night. Wet dreams can be sort of fun but it seems that sort of defeats the purpose of the chastity device in the first place. Of course it wouldn't be a problem with men who don't have sex drives, but what is the point?

That's an idea I never understood; that any kind of fluid emission from the penis is the same as an orgasm. How does that ruin chastity? Does a wet dream feel good? I've certainly never been aware of one happening. Does it make you less desperate to have that sensation? Not that I've noticed. The longest I've been "forced" to stay chaste is a week, and after a few days not only was I leaking almost constantly I did have wet dreams as well. Neither had any impact on my need to orgasm.

I have had many wet dreams that were better than the real thing. I wouldn't do a chastity device but if I did, I'm sure I would have more wet dreams. That might get rather scummy -- yech!

Perhaps instead of "true chastity", "full-time permanent chastity" better represents what you mean. The word chastity by itself doesn't necessarily imply 24/7, forever. I do agree with you that few men (actually DAMN few men) are interested in permanent chastity.
