I'm pretty curious then why you don't extend the same logic to the original snide remark? Research that carefully because locks of love and stuff have very specific rules about hair they will accept, and if you bleach it or dye it regularly they will not accept it, and I hear that most the donated hair is deemed unfit for use and wasted. Plus there's special criteria and stuff on who can get the hair, even if they're sick if they don't match the criteria they won't get a wig.

I am always naked by choice, and it's so natural for me  I am a nudist and since it's like first nature to wander about naked for everything I need to do in the house, I don't think to get dressed sometimes I just go about doing what I am doing butt naked. Well after making pigs in a blanket and carrying the tray out an trying to open the door all by myself, it swung shut and pushed the HOT just from the oven tray into my bare flesh of my tummy, and I got to have a lovely * sarcasm* bright red burn about 4 inches across my belly, and I am lucky the tray didn't touch my breast since they're large and hang down inches from where I was burned. I think the scar may even be permenant all though I am hoping it won't be.

First of all, i would have to say I would not consider being in a relationship with someone who felt it necessary to break me or "strip me down." I would also not choose to be in a relationship with someone who automatically assumes i have walls or feel the need to pretend to be normal simply because I identify as an s-type. If a man couldn't accept and respect me as I am now, then I don't feel I could ever trust, respect, or submit to him. What would I do when i realized I have no hair, no clothes, no job and am living with someone who doesn't even really like me?

And based on the idea of the slave that was outlined in the OP, one would assume she is already emotionally damaged to feel she isn't normal and has to protect herself in order to get through life. I don't think debasing her would do anything but further alienate her and give her more reason to keep her walls up. I have to agree with a lot of the responders, this smacks of fantasy and inexperience, both in this kind of dynamic and life in general.

It's about making a slave more than she is on her own. Otherwise...you just get a broken-down slave.

I'm fortunate that I look good without hair, since chemo took mine away, and when it came back, it was a PITA -- so now, all I want to do is shave it off again! (Of course, NOW, I have a job where I can't be bald -- go figure).

So... one more thing to think about... once hair has been shaved off, it doesn't always come back in the same condition or with the same texture, etc., as the former hair -- so if that's going to be an issue for anyone involved, then it's probably better not to shave the head.

Glad you brought this up, Toppingfrmbottom!

I have donated my unbleached, uncolored, unpermed hair many times over the last few years. My current Sir prefers that my hair is kept long, however. In the past, when my hair got to waist length, I'd have it cut to chin length and donate my hair.

Some people aren't aware that the hair they donate won't be used if it's been overly chemically treated, though. I guess that only makes a difference though if the person wouldn't normally have cut their hair, and the only reason they did it was thinking it would be used for charitable organizations that offer wigs to those that need them for medical reasons.

First off, let me correct what appears to be an erroneous assumption. Des is not a personal friend of mine. Secondly, you are missing the point. My post wasn't about snark, it was a reaction to this bit:

I don't like the idea of being "broken down", because really, I'm too easygoing and it would probably be very damaging to me.

but, I have always loved the idea of shaving my head.  I love the idea of being rid of something that is a big pain to take care of, that attracts a lot of attention, and is really like wearing a fur coat on my head.  uncomfortable.  I have far more hair on my head than the average woman, and it grows rather quickly, so I often fantasize about shaving it all off....

Thing is, where I'm from a slave is a reflection of his or her owner. Now if the master in question is snide, I suppose she's quite in line, I guess.
